Americans are not mentally ill - they are severely mineral deficient. The top minerals that helped my family get off antidepressants, quieted anxiety and increased our joy are: 1) Copper - makes and regulates neurotransmitters. Boosts mood, motivation and energy. 2) Zinc - makes and regulates neurotransmitters. Quiets anxiety and balances copper. 3) Chromium with vanadium- reduces inflammation. Increases joy. 4) Iodine - mood regulator by way of thyroid hormone balancing. Boosts cognitive function and energy as well as quiets anxiety.

Multivitamins and vitamin D pills are not the answer to improving health. We need real sunshine and minerals. Do you agree?

I haven’t watched this yet but heard Dr. Wallach is pro-mineral and its a good video. https://youtu.be/GIxmRlqv3zQ?is=pz5d8ElkFVeRl191

I didn't know this about lavender and tea tree oil. Its mostly a concern for daily topical use. Having ADHD kiddos, I did use topical lavender containing products frequently when they were younger. Thankfully I started my youngest son on iodine and boron which balanced his hormones at age 13. Hopefully that was enough to reverse any harm that may have been caused.

Patricia Leidl did not just follow global public health directives, she spent years crafting them. A veteran UN and World Health Organization communications lead, she literally drafted the WHO’s State of the World Vaccines and Immunization report, managing the messaging sent to policymakers worldwide. Then came the COVID mandates. Needing to travel for work, Leidl took the shots promoted by the very agency she once represented. Seven days after dose two, she collapsed. What followed was a living nightmare: multisystem collapse, neurological devastation, and severe physical trauma that cost her $250,000 to fight. But the medical damage was only the beginning. When she sought help, the establishment closed ranks. Doctors privately admitted her horrific symptoms were “happening to everyone,” while public officials and former colleagues branded her a pariah to protect the narrative. https://lionessofjudah.substack.com/p/she-wrote-the-whos-vaccine-messagingthen

This video was posted on Barbara’s official FB account. Apparently one of her haters at Trinity College in Dublin, a member of “Friends of Science in Medicine”, got her arrested in Qatar where she was invited to speak at an event. Thankfully officials realized she had done nothing wrong and released her. Bless her!

Does anyone in this group have experience with weaning off of HRT after menopause since boron levels/balances out hormones? I would love to be able to stop taking them but not wanting bone loss or weight gain, etc. Thanks for any input

The author of Copper Revolution, Jason Hommel, announced last week that MSM sulfur is now optional on his protocol. His decision was based on the fact that unlike copper (and other minerals he promotes), MSM sulfur lacked strong peer reviewed studies proving the many claims people make about it's benefits. He and his wife, Jennifer, stopped taking MSM last week and noticed less bloating shortly after which they see as a good thing. I'm keeping MSM in my daily stack for now and here are my reasons why: 1) I've taken breaks before while traveling then noticed a ton of hair shedding a few weeks later that resolves with adding MSM back. I need all the hair I have left on my head after years of hairloss due to pharmaceuticals, anemia and sub optimal thyroid function prior to my health journey. When I started MSM, I noticed my hair became softer, fuller and my nails grew faster. 2) The strongest evidence for MSM use is for joint pain relief. I don't know about you but I like joints that ache less. 😊 3) Antioxidant & Detox support - MSM is an antioxidant on it's own which is likely why it helps with joint inflammation. While there are no studies demonstrating MSM's ability to support glutathione production, it is still entirely biologically plausible that the body uses some of the sulfur provided by MSM to increase glutathione levels in the body. Glutathione is the body's master antioxidant and it's importance to our well being can't be stressed enough. Studies have shown that MSM is well absorbed, crosses the blood brain barrier and ends up in our tissues but the majority of it does get excreted through urine. You know what else gets largely excreted by the body in urine but still has benefits? Boron. Over 90% of the boron you consume is excreted within 24 hours yet our bodies respond positively to it and we're better off with it than without it. I will keep an open mind about MSM and consider lowering my dose going forward but I'm nowhere near ready to call it quits. For those of you that take MSM, what benefits have you noticed?

Children who take music lessons develop a larger corpus callosum, the bridge between the two halves of the brain, and the change is permanent. A 2005 review in the Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences found that early music training produces structural brain changes that persist into adulthood, even if the person stops playing. The review was led by Gottfried Schlaug at Harvard Medical School, one of the leading researchers on music and the brain. He found that children who started instrumental training before age seven had a significantly larger anterior corpus callosum than non-musicians, and the size difference was still visible in adults who had not touched an instrument in years. The corpus callosum carries signals between the left and right hemispheres. A larger one means faster, richer communication between the two sides, and the effect shows up in tasks that have nothing to do with music: spatial reasoning, verbal memory, and the ability to process multiple streams of information at once. The music built the highway, and the brain uses it for everything. Schlaug also found that musicians had larger cerebellums, the region involved in timing and motor coordination, and more grey matter in the areas that process sound. The brain had physically reorganised itself around the demands of the instrument, and the reorganisation was visible on a scan. The age window matters. Children who started before seven showed the largest changes. Children who started after ten showed smaller ones. Adults who took up an instrument for the first time showed the least structural change, though they still showed some. The brain is most willing to be rebuilt by music during the years when most parents are debating whether to sign their child up for lessons. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16597769/

This study is older but interesting. They took non-gaming adults and divided them into two groups. One group learned to play Super Mario 64 and the other group was instructed not to play any video games at all during the study period. When they compared the two groups at the end of the study period, they found the gaming group had improved neuroplasticity and more grey matter. Neuroplasticity is the brain's ability to change, adapt and reorganize itself in response to learning and experiences. It's essentially your brain's ability to rewire itself. The main takeaway from this study is your brain remains capable of adapting throughout adulthood. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24166407/
