★Morally Grey Villain
Love and ambition make a dangerous pair
Deep betrayal by Vander (or what he interpreted as betrayal) and nearly drowning in Zaun's toxic waters. The moment he realized his "brother" had sacrificed him. This wound is combined with a profound sense of inferiority toward Piltover.
Primary defense mechanism: Identification with the Aggressor + Messianic Delusion. He transforms his personal pain into the ideology of "Zaun's liberation" in order to tolerate his feelings of victimhood.
The lie he tells himself: "I am doing this for the nation of Zaun."
Hidden fear: That he is truly fighting only for personal revenge and to prove his own worth. A deeper fear: that Jinx will leave him or realize that he, like everyone else, is only using her.
Things he would never admit: Jinx is his substitute for all the love he has lost. He fears that without her, he would once again become that drowned, lonely man.
