Hey everyone👋 Lots of you are asking about accessing the university portal to see your grades and find out which school you've been placed in. As i know, the portal was accessible using mobile data during break time when I was a first-year student. They will likely do the same this year, so don't worry, you should be able to check your information as soon as they give you access. However, the most important thing now is to focus on getting ready for school. Last years 2023/24 astu school Entry Requirements: 📌Many students are asking about the entry requirements for electrical and mechanical schools. 👉Electrical school: Last 2015 batch: >>male: 3.0 CGPA >>female: 2.2 CGPA 👉Mechanical and Civil School: By there own choose And by placement for those student score less than 3.00 for boys for girls idk Departments entry requirements 👉 Software Engineering: >>male: 3.0 CGPA >>female: 2.8 CGPA 👉 Computer Science and Engineering (CSE): >>male: 2.9 CGPA >>female: 2.7 CGPA 👉Mechanical Engineering: >>male: 2.5 CGPA >>female: 2.1 CGPA 👉 Civil Engineering: >>male: 2.5 CGPA >>female: 2.1 CGPA 👉Architecture >> COC + CGPA but mainly COC(Entrance exam for architect)  Note: These are the requirements from the last year batch and in this year it may have changed. PASS POINT TO THE 2ND YEAR ● CGPA = Cumulative Grade Point Average (of the first and second semester) ● SGPA = Semester Grade Point Average (of the second semester) 1. A good standing student 👍 👉🏽 A student whose CGPA is greater or equal to 2.00 and SGPA is greater than or equal to 1.75 for the second semester is good standing student. 2. Warned ⚠️ 👉🏽 A student whose SGPA is greater than or equal to 1.50 but less than 1.75 or CGPA is greater than or equal to 1.75 and less than 2.00 at the end of the second semester shall be warned. 3. Dismissed ✋ ❌🚫 👉🏽 A student whose SGPA is less than 1.50 or CGPA is less than 1.75 at the end of the second semester shall be dismissed for academic reasons. 👉🏽 If a student, who has been put on warning during the first semester, fails to maintain SGPA of 1.75 and also a CGPA of 2.00 during the second semester of the academic year, is subjected to dismissal unless he is put on probation. 👉🏽 Finally... a student who fails to achieve a semester GPA of 1.00 at any semester is subjected to dismissal for good. 👉🏽 Teachers have not finished evaluating the exams and submitting the grade points to the registrar yet.
