| 19 | *🚨 JAMB INTRODUCES ONE-TIME SIM & EMAIL CHANGE SERVICE FOR CANDIDATES*
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced a new service for candidates who have lost access to their registered GSM number and/or email address.
The new service, which commences on Monday, 21st September 2026, allows eligible candidates to update their registered contact details.
👉 *IMPORTANT* : The service can be accessed only once per candidate.
*REQUIREMENTS*
Candidates seeking to use the service must have:
🔹️ A new GSM number and/or email address.
🔹️ A duly executed Court Affidavit, scanned and ready for upload.
The process must be completed at designated JAMB CBT (PTC/PRC) Centres, including applicable JAMB State Offices.
*HOW TO CHANGE YOUR JAMB GSM NUMBER OR EMAIL*
1️⃣ Log in to your JAMB e-Facility using your existing credentials, Registration Number or Profile Code.
2️⃣ Select “SIM Swap/eMail Change Payment” and pay the prescribed fee.
3️⃣ Proceed to a designated JAMB CBT Centre and access the SIM Swap/eMail Change Quicklink.
4️⃣ Enter your Profile Code or existing GSM number and select “Fetch Details.”
5️⃣ Complete the required biometric verification.
6️⃣ Select the service you require:
• GSM only
• Email only
• Both GSM & Email
7️⃣ Enter your new GSM number and/or email address and upload the scanned Court Affidavit.
8️⃣ Click “Update” to complete the process. A confirmation message will be displayed once the update is successful.

JAMB states that the service is subject to strict authentication measures and can only be accessed once per candidate.
