“The Daily Facial Moisturizing Hand Creams have similar packaging, ingredients, and scents as L’Occitane hand creams,” they said.
And that was just the beginning.
“The Daily Facial Sunscreen is a dupe for the Unseen Sunscreen from Supergoop for a fraction of the price,” they said.
They also explained how the affordable store carried products similar to another brand – Sol de Janeiro.
“The Salted Caramel and Pistachio body care products from Trader Joe’s smell identical,” they said.
“The body wash and scrub are fabulous.”
Other users also spilled the beans on their own Trader Joe’s beauty product secrets.
“Just purchased today – a dupe for the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. This was my first time seeing this,” said one Redditor (https://www.thesun.co.uk/fabulous/27747100/makeup-lip-mask-trader-joes-dupe-gloss/).
“It feels a little bit lighter than the Laneige, but nice and moisturizing, and has a pretty amount of shine the way Laneige does,” they continued.
“I’m a makeup artist and even though it’s a moisturizer, I often use it as a lipgloss. And the vanilla scent isn’t too strong and fake-sweet like vanilla can be sometimes.
“Laneige is generally around $20, this was $5.49 if memory serves.”
“The honey moisturizer duo – wish I would have grabbed more. Hopefully, it returns soon,” said another user.
It seemed that skincare buys weren’t the only steal either.
“The shea butter and coconut hair serum – I think it’s my favorite hair product ever, I use it on both wet and dry hair,” wrote one shopper.

“But I’m pleased with the job I’ve done, because I went into a dressing room full of big international players with big egos who have played for big clubs and they were unsure of what was going on and I had to unite them and get them pushing in the same direction.
“And that’s not easy.
“Obviously we had to strip the squad back quite a bit, reduce the wage bill heavily, made a big profit of £100m on player sales.
“I am a bit disappointed it’s tailed off. But that motivates me to make sure we push harder next season.”

PUNTERS are devastated after a pub owned by a family favourite restaurant chain announced it’s shutting in weeks.
The Treacle Mine pub in Polegate, near Eastbourne, will be shutting for the final time on July 4.

In a sign put up outside the boozer on Halisham Road, the landlords confirmed the closure was a “company decision”, reports The Argus (https://www.theargus.co.uk/news/24322114.treacle-mine-pub-polegate-will-close-summer/).
No further reasoning was offered.
The pub is owned by Whitbread Group PLC, which has 840 sites across the UK and owns brands including Premier Inn, Beefeater and Brewers Fayre.
Taking to Facebook (https://www.thesun.co.uk/topic/facebook/), fans of the venue have shared their outrage, as well as memories of going there over the years.
One said: “Very sad. Lots of memories of taking my late Nan there.”
Another added: “Sad and wrong decision in my opinion. Wishing all the lovely staff well.”
A third said: “Oh no, they do such a great breakfast there.”
And a fourth: “Such a shame. One of my favourite places to eat!”
A fifth said: “Really a shame …Great staff good reasonable priced meals good atmosphere..We will miss going there. Big mistake …But greed rules.”
CLOSURE PLANS
Earlier this month, it revealed plans to close more than 200 of its branded locations (https://www.thesun.co.uk/money/27622635/family-favourite-pub-chain-close-locations-whitbread/) and axe 1,500 jobs in favour of building more hotel rooms.
Whitbread said it plans to convert 112 restaurants into hotel extensions while closing 126 “loss-making” venues.
It hopes the sales will be completed within the next two years and the restaurants will remain open as usual until they are sold.
If a site is losing a branded restaurant, a new integrated restaurant will be made within the hotel.
The move will leave Whitbread with 387 restaurants that are part of its hotels and 196 branded restaurants.
The hospitality chain said it has already agreed to sell 21 of these restaurants for £28million.
However, it’s unclear exactly which pubs and restaurants are earmarked for closure and where they are located.
The group said the job cuts are still subject to consultation and come from its total UK (https://www.thesun.co.uk/where/uk/) workforce of 37,000 employees.
It followed reports that Whitbread was looking to speed up plans to sell hundreds of its pubs and restaurants (https://www.thesun.co.uk/money/22712211/major-update-whitbread-beefeater-pubs-restaurant-closures/).
The chain was said to have marked at least 250 of its 440 pubs and restaurants for sale, most of which are located close to Premier Inn hotels.

16 Major change to rules in youth football matches announced after two year trial
HEADING is being outlawed from youth football matches in England, it was announced yesterday.
It will be banned for the next three seasons under a new rule for all leagues, clubs and affiliated school matches, the Football Association says.
The change will cover all under-seven to under-nine matches in 2024-25 (https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/11034115/should-kids-be-banned-from-heading-ball/), before expanding to include under-ten level from 2025-26 and under-11s the following season.

The indirect free-kick will be taken at the point where the ball was deliberately headed.
If the ball was deliberately headed in the penalty area, the game will restart from the nearest sideline.
It follows a two-season International Football Association Board trial.
Ex-professional footballers are more than three times as likely to be diagnosed with dementia than the general population.
The FA said about 16,000 teams and 107,000 players participated in the Ifab trial, launched in 2022.
The ruling body said: “Our aim is to create more opportunities for players with the ball at their feet.”

‘I had an accident last weekend at a holiday cottage. I swung a pillow and hit a large, glass lampshade hanging from the ceiling above me, which shattered and cut my face and arms, but luckily missed my eye

In a trial, 20 middle-aged blokes sat clothed in a magnetic chair as pulses were targeted at the groin, stimulating and strengthening muscles connected to the penis.
The men, who all had moderate or severe erectile dysfunction at the start, had the therapy for 30 minutes, twice a week for eight weeks.
By the end, one was cured and 14 finished with “mild to moderate” dysfunction.
Dr Daniel Galimberti, who led the Argentine study, said muscle strengthening could be a long-term fix, whereas pills like Viagra (https://www.thesun.co.uk/health/27326822/never-pop-viagra-for-fun-priapism-life-threatening-reactions/) last only for a night.
He added: “For most men with ED, the ideal result is a lasting solution, which is something that this can potentially accomplish.”

They include gold medallist Jack Laugher MBE and Tom Daley’s dive partner Noah Williams, who both uploaded content on OnlyFans (https://www.thesun.co.uk/topic/onlyfans/) in the week they were picked to star at the Paris Olympics.
Sources within Team GB (https://www.thesun.co.uk/topic/team-gb/) say bosses are “very relaxed” about the divers being on the site and say it’s an “issue with funding”.
One source said: “These guys train so hard and there is little time for them to earn money (https://www.thesun.co.uk/topic/money/) outside the pool.
“They’re all in incredible shape and if they can top up their Team GB money in this way then good luck to them. In an ideal world they’d get paid more and not need to but bosses are very relaxed about the OnlyFans work.”
Material shared with paying punters includes ten-metre springboard specialist Noah, 23, doing a racy video and three- metre dive ace Jack, 29, posing naked.
It’s thought the pair could make thousands of pounds a month through their sideline.
But flogging nudes as both men were called up for the Olympics — Jack’s fourth Games and Noah’s second — has raised questions about their funding.
‘NEEDS MUST’
Another source said: “It’s needs must for Jack and Noah and they see posting pornographic material as an acceptable way to boost the coffers.
“It’s not the sort of thing that Team GB would promote, but there’s little that they can do to stop it. And let’s face it they need the money.”
Other Team GB divers with OnlyFans pages include three-metre specialist Matty Lee (https://www.thesun.co.uk/who/matty-lee/) MBE, 26, ten-metre synchro champ Daniel Goodfellow, 27, and ten-metre stars Robbie Lee, 19, and Matthew Dixon, 24.
The divers were among 29 invited on to British Swimming’s World Class Programme for the 2023-2024 season.
They receive “targeted financial assistance from UK Sport”.
Sources within Team GB told how OnlyFans allows divers to interact directly with their fan-base.

Baxter was so determined to make a go of goalkeeping that he took seven loans while at Chelsea to learn about football the hard way — in competitive games that matter.
He was just 17 when he played for the Met Police.
From non-League with Solihull Moors to Ross County in the Scottish Premiership, he had boots and gloves in one bag and a laptop and textbooks in another.
Degrees normally take three years to complete and most undergraduates combine it with boozing and partying.
But teetotal Baxter said: “It was quite a lot of commitment.
“Sometimes I was questioning whether it was worth it because it was hard at times.
“I’d be up at night and having to play the next day.
“I remember being on summer holiday in Lanzarote with the family and having to do work.

“There were a couple of times it was tough around handing in time. But it was definitely worth it.
“The Open University was great too, giving me extensions if I had a lot of games coming up.

Ironically, it is with Wanderers where much-travelled Baxter feels most at home.
He said: “I didn’t quite realise how much of a difference it would be and I love it.
“I feel more settled and I have improved massively as a keeper.

“Obviously we had to strip the squad back quite a bit, reduce the wage bill heavily, made a big profit of £100m on player sales.
“I am a bit disappointed it’s tailed off. But that motivates me to make sure we push harder next season.”
