🇮🇳 Meet the New Chief of Indian Airforce Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit. He will assume command on 31st October, 2026 and his tenure will run till 31st December, 2028. He is widely known for pushing the indigenous LCA Tejas and other indigenous aircraft projects in the force, Air Marshal Dixit is expected to further promote the Aatmanirbharta initiative of the government. He was commissioned into the fighter stream of IAF on 06 December 1986 and is an alumnus of National Defence Academy, Defence Staff Service College (Bangladesh) and National Defence College with more than 3500 hours of flying.

🇮🇳 Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) conducted the maiden live jump of the Advanced High-Altitude Parachute (AHAP) at one of the highest-altitude drop zones, Nyoma (Mudh DZ). The jump was executed at 16,000 feet above mean sea level (AMSL). The parachute was deployed at 15500 feet AMSL and landing was undertaken at Nyoma (Mudh DZ) which is at 13,700 feet.
