go on your twitters and stop seeing your idols for even just a moment and see what's happening in Gaza. i promise you, you can find things on your timeline related to it, Palestinian people are suffering everyday and yet they still manage to post updates on their life and the atrocities they're going through, and yet through it all they manage to stay positive. so i urge all of you to keep talking, and especially for those with a platform, keep speaking out. this are some extremely helpful resources that i highly recommend: https://decolonizepalestine.com read the Hollow Land by Eyal Weizman, extremely good book on the exploration of the political space created by Israel's colonial occupation. https://www.thepalestineacademy.com https://www.aljazeera.com https://www.reuters.com https://apnews.com i urge you to spread this around and keep speaking out. use your platforms and never let the hashtags #CeaseFireNow and #FreePalestine detrend. keep going to the hashtags and uplift the voices of the Palestinian people. it is not performative at all, and this is what they want. and lastly, keep them in your prayers ALWAYS. despite everything, they manage to stay positive through it all. so don't give up when they never will

sorry to bring this up, but i've seen that donation link to help Palestine circulating around, and i just think its so so important that people actually do their research and fact check before choosing an organisation to donate to. as i have mentioned to op, save the children has been found guilty in more than 40 counts of mistreatment of children, including sexual harrassment and physical abuse. and the worst part is that they didn't even fire all the employees that were involved in these cases. many of these organisations are also primarily run by white countries, ESPECIALLY american organisations, and i think it is so so important to know that at the end of the day, the US does not support Palestine at all in any way of form, so funding an American-bound organisation can honestly raise a lot of brows. i really do get the goodwill that comes out of starting such donation drives, but i think it is more important to know where the money is going to at the end of the day. telling op to be transparent in the funding is one thing, but how do you know if the organisation op chooses to fund is even reliable? and in case you do not know by now as well, many of these donations and supplies go to the Palestinians, as the IDF continue to camp around the borders and restrict access to both Palestinians and outsiders alike. your money could be going to the IDF and the funding of military supplies, and we are only doing a disfavour. i have seen so many Palestinian people echo the same sentiment: they don't want people's 'pity donations' or aid, they want people to be bold enough to speak up and say CEASFIRE NOW. they want people to keep talking and spreading information, they want everyone to know what they're going through everyday and speak up about it.
