Dali on a plate🍮   We might be the first ones to see upcoming exhibitions, but it’s definitely the opposite when it comes to exploring seasonal menus.   Out of nowhere, we came across dishes inspired by Salvador Dali’s art at a wine bar Рассвет🍷 Since oysters weren’t available, we chose another, no less iconic option — cheese Camembert — in a dish «Camembert under the sun». Dali confessed that one of his most famous symbols — the melting clock — was created under the impression of the sun melting cheese Camembert 🧀   As for beverages, the artist really enjoyed a Catalan sparkling wine, Cava🍷   🥛 Unfortunately, the special dessert was also out, so we’re going to come once more. But we found a picture of it: fried milk is served with a brush and a canvas, so that you can become an artist yourself 👨🏻‍🎨   🔤🔤 A waiter let us know that the next seasonal menu, “The Silk Way”, would be inspired by Asian cuisine 🐉   🗓️ Until July, 14 📍 Wine bar «Рассвет», Moscow

Unwinding 🕊 Moscow is at its best in summer — thriving with numerous parks’ vibrant greenery and various recreational facilities, as well as an array of well-equipped outdoor spaces and cozy cafés’ terraces🌿 However, IMHO the spectacular views of the old architecture, accompanied by the fresh river breeze that any boat trip along the Moscow river would offer, beat it all💯 One more reason to go — well-cooked and neatly served food and drinks that will add good flavour to your experience🍹 📍Radisson cruise, Moscow river #EatPrayLove

Short life, long memories📜   In the art world, it’s crucial to have unique features that make your work stand out. If you see: ⏺elongated figures  ⏺occasionally missing pupils ⏺atmosphere of despair  … it’s likely that it’s Amedeo Modigliani, an Italian painter, whose 140-year birth anniversary we’re celebrating today!🎂   Born in a family of impoverished Jews, he had showed interest in art since his childhood. At the beginning of the XX century, he moved to Paris, where he got to know Picasso, Akhmatova, Renoir, and Ehrenburg 📖   Due to bad health, Modigliani often fell ill. He suffered from pleurisy, typhoid, and tuberculous meningitis, which led to his death in 1920 at the age of 35 👼 His wife, unable to imagine life without Amedeo, soon committed suicide while in her ninth month of pregnancy.   Nevertheless, he is still recognised as one of the most important artists of the first third of the XX century and inspires contemporary creators too (5).   📍Antiques Gallery «Однажды», Moscow #WeCreArtDaily

Strike the right note 🎵 We continue to explore museums founded in honour of Russian classics in all types of art, including literature, poetry, and music🦢 🦢 “The Nutcracker” and “The Swan Lake” have been known to everyone since early years — Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky stands behind them. As you wander through the museum's halls, you'll be immersed in Tchaikovsky's world, from his early years to his rise as a master composer. Delve into the composer's personal artefacts, including original letters, and personal belongings, such as a Bible with his inscriptions on the pages 📕 🎶In addition, your stay will be accompanied by calming melodies. At the moment, the last floor is used for a temporary exhibition devoted to the 185-year anniversary of another great composer, Mussorgsky. 🎹By the way, the place also offers musical events in several halls, focusing not only on piano concerts but also choir and accordion. 🗓 Until August, 18 📍 Tchaikovsky Museum, Moscow #WeCreArtDaily

#WeCreArtMemes The heat got us like this hand got this fish ♨️ This is a plate by Picasso that he made while working in the ceramic atelier Madoura in Vallauris, France 🇫🇷 Having started working with clay at the age of about 65, he continued to produce such items up until his death. Sometimes he used himself as a reference for different parts, like his left hand in this case ✋ 🖼️ Pablo Picasso, "Hands with Fish", 1953 📍 Dali&Picasso Gallery, Moscow

How to become wiser? 🤓 Of course, you can read philosophical papers, start meditating or turn to religion. Speaking about the last option, if you’re ready to seek adventure, then there’s a short path for you: simply wade across the river Velikaya (like the Lithuanians did in 1581) and pour icy water from the Saint Olga’s well on your head 💦 😬Pskov’s architecture is much more austere than in Veliky Novgorod due to the fact that there were less rich sponsors. The walls and towers of the Krom (Kremlin) are much more medieval-like too🫠 Honestly, we didn’t have enough time to fully appreciate the town because it still has a lot of historic buildings from the XVII–XIX centuries ☕️ ☕️ But we always have time for a tasty meal, so here’s a list where to go: 😍Misha Bistro 😉Mojo Gastro Bar 🤣Dialogue Café 🥸Stroganov Restaurant 📍 Pskov, Russia #WeCreArtDaily

Go from riches to rags 🏚️ We’ve all heard stories of success when small villages become flourishing cities. Old Ladoga is the opposite. Some historians say that it was even a capital once, but with the founding of Saint-Petersburg it started to decay. 🏰 One of the symbols of the former power is the fortress, which has been well-restored in our time. The entrance at a 90-degree angle made it especially difficult for enemies to conquer it. No surprise, there’s an old St. George's Church dating from the late XII century 🇷🇺 Due to the failed restoration the of XIX-XX centuries, irreparable damage was done to the murals. However, we can still see light elongated figures of saints. ☦️ Monasteries are also an integral part of Ladoga, with many of them located in picturesque areas. In places like these, it’s especially easy to feel the national identity. 📍 Old Ladoga, Russia #WeCreArtDaily
