Shaykh Sālih Sindī (may Allāh preserve him): “The Witr prayer tonight (the night of Eid) is the first test after Ramadhān”.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Eid Al-Fitr will be on Wednesday 10th April 2024 in shā Allāh. We praise Allāh for allowing us to have the opportunity to fast another day and continue to experience the blessings of this blessed month. In preparation for Eid, we will have a discussion amongst some of the students of knowledge discussing some of the rulings pertaining to Eid. This will be tomorrow: 09/04/24 Time- 17:30 (UK time).

قَالَ أَبْو بَكْرٍ ابْن العَرَبِي - رحِمَهُ الله -: ‏وَلَقَدْ أُعْطِيَتْ أُمَّةُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّىٰ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الفَضْلِ مَا لَمْ تُعْطَهُ أُمَّةٌ فِيْ طُولِ عُمْرِهَا، وَمِنْ أَفْضَلِ مَا أُعْطُوا؛ لَيْلَةَ القَدْرِ. ‏ أَحْكَامُ القُرْآنِ (٤٧٣/٤) Abū Bakr Ibn Al-‘Arabī rahimahullāh said: “And indeed the ummah of Muhammad has been given from virtue that which no ummah has been given as long as they lived, and from that virtue is laylatul qadr”. From the supplications of our messenger: …وَأَسْـأَلُـكَ لَـذَّةَ النَّظَـرِ إِلـى وَجْـهِكَ وَالشَّـوْقَ إِلـى لِقـائِـك، في غَـيرِ ضَـرّاءَ مُضِـرَّة، وَلا فِتْـنَةٍ مُضـلَّة I ask You for the delight of gazing upon Your Face, and the joy of meeting You, without any harm and misleading trials befalling me.

‎قال الشيخ محمد بن عبد الوهاب -رحمه الله-: ‌‏"واعلم أن من حقوق الأخوة في الله ‌‏ إدامة الدُّعاء لإخوانك في أوقات الإجابة".
