Al-Allāmah Ibn Bāz rahimahullāh said: There is no harm in difference in age between the husband and the wife, whether he is older than her or she is older than him, there is no harm in that. What truly matters is that she be a woman of religion. If she is a woman of religion, then it is upon you to take her (i.e., marry her), even if she is older than you. And she is likewise [the same], there is nothing wrong for a woman to marry someone older than her if he is righteous for her regarding his religion and his character.
