تذكيرات الموت

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said in a Hadīth Qudsī: Allāh, Blessed and Exalted, said: “O son of Ādam, as long as you call upon Me and hope in Me, I will forgive you for what you have done, and I do not mind! O son of Ādam, if your sins were to reach the clouds of the sky and then you asked for My forgiveness, I would forgive you! O son of Ādam, if you came to Me with an earth full of sins, and then you met Me without associating anything with Me, I would come to you with an earth full of forgiveness!” So reflect, may Allāh preserve you, on Allāh’s mercy towards us and His forgiveness for our sins. What are you waiting for? Repent to Allāh and turn back to Him, hoping that He will forgive you. This worldly life is not worth the sorrow and worry, so roll up your sleeves and seek help from Allāh. اللّٰهُم اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَلِلْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ الأَحْياءِ مِنْهُمْ وَالأَمْوَات

Imam Hasan Al-Basri رحمه الله said: "It will be presented to the son of Adam the moments of his life on the Day of Resurrection. Every moment he did not do righteous deeds, his soul will break out of sorrow!" [Hifdhul 'Umr: 63]

اللهم اجعل الموت نصب أعيننا لنحيا حياة طيبة خالصة لوجهك الكريم..آمين

Habeeb Abu Muhammad Rahimahullah said: "Don't sit around doing nothing, death is seeking you out." (Mowsu'ah Ibn Abid-Dunyaa, 5/521)

Ibn Al-Jauzi (رحمه الله) said: "Your words will be recorded. You will be questioned about your sentences. How many sins you have that you have not repented of. The sun of your life is about to set. How hard your heart is, among all the hearts!" [At-Tabsirah (2/256)]

"وبالأسحار هم يستغفرون"🌿

Reflect, reconsider. Do you not perceive the departed ones? They were once blessed with senses and these were taken away. Your time will come as well. Be mindful of your Creator. So what holds you back?
