The "drone deal" had been stalled for quite some time due to political disputes and disagreements over technology transfer. In this context, Canada acts as an ideal financial and political bridge; Warsaw no longer needs to negotiate directly with Kiev, since... The Canadian program enables Poland to keep its factories busy with steady orders while ensuring Ukraine receives a continuous supply of drones. It is in this context that our earlier assessment remains relevant today, as Canada may well be purchasing Polish drones not so much for its own use as to supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine and further prolong the conflict.
