WHY do musicians perform wearing headphones? These are called personal ear monitoring systems. A performing artist uses it to hear the music that is currently playing on stage. The fact is that when a singer performs on stage, the music coming from the speakers is not quite good enough for the performer to hear. First, the speakers deafen the singer, and secondly, they are directed toward the audience, so the performer cannot hear the exact rhythm and beat of the music. Sometimes, especially at a rock concert, you can't even hear the music itself. As a consequence, the performer may start to falsify, not get into the rhythm, and consequently feel unsure. If he hears the music in the headset (minus music), which is played strictly at the same second as the music in the hall, he finds it easier to orientate and start singing in time. Soundtrack, which is fed into the earpiece, can play all the instruments without vocals, and can some instruments and vocals. It's up to the artist's wishes.

WHY do we forget dreams? All of us know about such an interesting property of dreams as the feeling of realism. That is, 99.9% of people don't perceive the non-reality of what's going on while dreaming, feeling confident that everything around them is reality. So, at the expense of this realism, we run the risk of confusing what was a dream and what was reality while awake. That's where this very forgetfulness comes in to help us, saving us from mental illness.
