4QFY25 core earnings beat our estimate but we expect a weaker 1QFY26”We expect the upcoming quarter to come in weaker qoq, largely from the inability of glovemakers to pass on the recent unfavourable forex movements coupled with the lack of sales volume growth visibility. We gather that the sales volume for Apr-Jun would only show a marginal improvement qoq, due to the aggressive frontloading activities by US customers back in 4Q24 and the current stiff pricing competition in nonUS markets. On ASPs, prices are expected to trend downward (particularly in MYR terms due to the depreciation of the US$), though this would be partially offset by lower raw material prices. As such, we maintain our forecasts despite the results beat as we expect the upcoming quarter to come in weaker qoq before recovering ahead. We introduce our FY28E earnings of RM325m.
