As declared by me, We'll start campaign for inclusion of GDS in 8th CPC from 26th November after declaration of Rule3 Transfer Approved List.

All preference fields are mandatory before submitting. GDS can not add or remove already submitted preference. GDS can change order of preference only sequence change is allowed in edit window.

📰 Requests Inclusion of *GDS in 8th Central Pay Commission* Ambica G. Lakshminarayana Valmiki, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Anantapur Constituency, Andhra Pradesh, has written to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, urging the *inclusion of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) under the purview of the 8th Central Pay Commission (CPC).* In her letter, the MP highlighted that around *2.75 lakh GDS employees serve vital roles in the Department of Posts,* providing essential postal services in rural areas equivalent in importance to urban postal services. She referred to the Supreme Court’s 1977 judgment, which recognized GDS as holders of civil posts under the State, emphasizing that they deserve fair and equal treatment. Expressing concern over the continued exclusion of GDS from the Central Pay Commissions, Valmiki pointed out that separate committees led by retired bureaucrats have historically been formed to review GDS issues, which has deprived them of benefits extended to regular employees. She earnestly requested that the GDS be included in the 8th CPC to ensure equitable pay revision and service benefits similar to other postal employees. The MP noted that such inclusion would not only ensure justice but also boost the morale and efficiency of India’s rural postal network. Copies of the letter have also been submitted to Finance Minister Smt.
