🎉🎈AMAZING!!! We had the honour to interview our very own professor NETSANET WORKNEH(MD,PHD,DTM and H ). She shared with us her journey,the ups and downs of what made her who she is today as well as the skills needed to enhance ones potential/future prospects for medical students . Training on communication skills and resilience was beautifully delivered by our professor . We would like to thank everyone who joined us today in making this one of the most successful events organized by SCORA-JU . ✨Our project isn't stopping here! 🤩We took our mission to the children's area at the Born Again Mental Health Rehabilitation Center. The joy and laughter we shared there were absolutely heartwarming. We visited the BORN AGAIN Mental Rehabilitation And Health Center, providing vital menstrual hygiene education and hand hygiene tips. 🤝 Huge thanks to our partners: Dr. Rakik Gedion, MELA FOR HER, SCORA-BMC, SCORP-HMC, and SCOPH-HMC for their support in donating essential items like reusable and disposable pads, detergents, clothing, and baby diapers. “ጊዜው ደርሷል...ሆዴን ይቆርጠኛል፣ ወገቤን ጨምድዶኛል በዛ ላይ ከወትሮው ለየት ብሎ ራሴን አሞኛል። ጓደኛዬ ግራ ቢገባት ኮካ ኮላ ገዝታ "ጠጭበት፣ ይጠቅምሻል" አለችኝ። ከየት ያመጣችው ሳይንስ እንደሆነ እያሠላሠልኩ ብዙም መከራከር ስላልፈለኩ ከመጠጣቱ ጋር ትግል ገባሁ። አንዱ ጓደኛችን ሲመጣ ግንባሬ ላይ ያለችውን ቀጭን፣ ነጭ ላብ አይቶ ደንገጥ አለ። አጠገቤ ያለውን “Iboprfine” አይቶ በፍጥነት "ውይ! ምነው? አመመሽ? ምንሽን አሞሽ ነው?" አለኝ። ብዙም አይገባውም ብዬ አስቤ "አይ ባክህ ዝም ብሎ ነው ትንሽ አሞኝ ነው፤ “pain killer” ውጫለሁ አያሳስብም" አልኩት:: እሱ ቀጥሎ "እራስሽን ነው? ምንሽን ነው? ወገብሽን?" አንድ እጄን ሆዴ ላይ፣ አንድ እጄን ወገቤ ላይ አድርጌ ምናልባት ህመሙ ከቀነሰ ብዬ ማሰብ ጀመርኩኝ። ይህን ተመልክቶ ገባው መሰለኝ "እእእእ...ገባኝ ባክሽ፣ አክስትሽ መጥታ ነው አይደል?" አለ። ግራ ተጋብተን "ምን??!!” አልነው። እሱም በእርግጠኝነት መልሶ " ቀዯ አክስትሽ መጥታ አይደል?"" ምናልባት ህመሙ ጭንቅላቴን ደፍኖት ይሆን እኔ ቶሎ አልገባኝም:: ጓደኛዬ ገብቷት ኖሮ ከት ብላ መሳቅ ጀመረች:: ቆይቶ ገባኝ:: "ፔሬድ" ለማለት ፈርቶ ኑሯል ለካስ:: ስለዚህ..."በየወሩ የምትመጣው ቀዯ አክስት" አንድ ቃል ላለማለት አራት ገላጭ መደርደር። ጉንፋን ሲይዘን ግን ንፍጥን ለመግለፅ "ነጯ ባለነጠላዋ ጎረቤትሽ በቀጭኖቹ መንታ መንገድ መጥታ" አንልም:: "ፔሬድ" ማለት ለምን ያሳቅቀናል? አንፈርበት!” በረቂቅ ከተማ (TaYA) Reqiq Genet Ketema(TaYA) #menstrual hygiene day #eswanetwan leswa #Mela For Her #scora-hmc ❤️SCORA-HMC❤️

What makes this project even more special is that it was led entirely by women, for women. From planning to execution, every successful aspect of this project reflects the dedication and strength of women working together towards a common goal. During this phase, we focused on providing crucial sexual awareness about menstruation, menstrual hygiene, and distributed reusable pads generously donated by Mela For Her.
