The biggest challenge in trading isn't finding good setups. It's surviving your own decisions. Here's what actually trips most traders up, in order: 1. No real risk management. They know the concept but don't apply it. One bad trade wipes out five good ones. 2. Revenge trading. A loss happens, ego kicks in, and the next trade isn't based on a setup. It's based on wanting to "win it back." 3. No consistent plan. Different strategy every week means no real data on what's working. Just noise. 4. Emotional exits. Closing winners too early out of fear, or holding losers too long out of hope. None of these are about charts. They're all about discipline. The traders who make it aren't the ones who found some secret indicator. They're the ones who fixed these four things and stuck to a process long enough to see it work.
