Thank God! He eventually granted me this score! I'd like to thank everybody who supports me: my students, colleagues, and family members! It does feel strange to finally achieve a level I've been meaning to reach for quite a long time without feeling anything that eccentric afterwards. IELTS 8.5 ✅

Hahaha. Virtually a year ago. Alhamdulillah. We made it!

Got a few things I've meaning to do if and when I get an 8.5 on IELTS. Firstly, it's been a while since I last contacted my former colleagues and my one and only IELTS teacher. I believe achieving C2 level - a truly new milestone - would make up for a good excuse to approach them again.

I currently prefer traveling across the country, trying new foods, meeting people from all walks of life to explaining puzzling Reading questions in my classrom. Like, I am thirsty for adventure now. Been working non-stop for the past 6 months. Every now and then I think I need to rest. But again, we, adults, sometimes have litte choice.
