An Iraqi security source told Asharq Al-Awsat that the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service has launched a campaign to arrest politicians in Baghdad's Green Zone over corruption allegations.
Those reportedly arrested include Azm Alliance leader Muthanna al-Samarraie, Iraqi MP Mohammed al-Karbouli of the Taqaddum Party, and Iraqi MP Ziad al-Janabi of Al-Mubadara.

The events are organized by TJA, DBP and DEM Party.

On June 14, a military force of approximately 300 armed militants reached the Bemleke area in Tartous province, in the coastal countryside. This force is commanded by the militia leader named “Ebu Mücahid el-Ensari.”
The majority of this group originated from Idlib province and belongs to radical military and security formations linked to the 86th Division under the Syrian Ministry of Defense. 🚨Internal conflicts in Syria are deepening!
Clashes erupted between residents of Deir ez-Zor and residents of the town of Al-Ghazlaniya in the Damascus countryside. Security forces attempted to intervene in the confrontation—which involved the use of firearms and hand grenades—but were unsuccessful. Clashes are continuing.
