Monologue 46: The final farewell. Hello, ex non grata here. I am publishing this post on the 1 year anniversary of this channel's creation. As you have probably realized, I have not posted anything for about half a year. I could have deleted the channel then and there but I thought why not wait until it's the 1 year anniversary? For old time's sake. I would like to thank those who have kept up with my content, I will still be posting more on the YouTube channel. I will also make occasional posts via my friend at https://t.me/mandalietmandaliet so subscribe to that channel (which is already great on its own) if you want to hear more from me. I will make such appearances whenever I decide to post on Youtube, in other words, I will simply make use of it as a means of shilling my videos, and not really a place to publish my thoughts in written form as I have done in the past with this channel. Expect to see me posting there tomorrow. Apart from telegram, I also deleted my instagram, tumblr, and twitter - and for more or less the same reasons. The great thing about my YouTube is that, for whatever reasons, logical or not, I don't feel the need to publish on the regular, I used to, but such sentiments are no longer with me. Much like how some only speak when he has something to say, I have and will continue to run my YouTube channel in a similar way. With my text form social media accounts - such as this one, I, for whatever reasons, never felt that way, for me it was akin to speaking to say something - which I didn't fancy too much if I am being honest. I always felt like everyday I had to update my telegram with new content and new ideas. I would spend at least 1 day every other week scheduling posts for the month. I didn't like this because it didn't feel genuine, especially in a craft like art (writing, video making) I don't think its especially fulfilling to have a quota or such. So I decided to terminate these channels and stick to YouTube. The other thing I didn't like about telegram was the fact that anything I put my thought into, in terms of the prose, the idea, the argument etc in my writing, they would never get the same traction as some quote I pulled off of the internet. So this was all the more reason to just stop with the telegram thing - why put much effort into it when you can just copy paste quotes from goodreads? You might be thinking to yourself, that I shouldn't put so much emphasis on follower counts, views, shares etc, and you're right, that's why I am shutting this channel down. I have decided that the ideas I express are better suited in video form, or even book form, which I have been working on all this time - not some messaging board. So yes, thanks for following me thus far, I will still be on YouTube and you can message me on here too, assuming we chatted before. Happy International Men's day.

We tirelessly and uncompromisingly oppose the decline in the spiritual level, which has become a habit of modern man. We resist the loss of all higher meaning in life, materialization, socialization and standardization, to which everything is subordinated. We want to be a threat, a challenge and an accusation to everything that is weak, compromises and enslaved by public opinion and petty adaptations to the current moment. We express our unshakable protest against the tyranny of everything economic and social, which impudently permeates everything around and against the relegation of any lofty worldview to the level of an insignificant humanism. Julius Evola. Tower magazine (1929).

'Everyone should learn to boxing. It is as essential to a physical education as swimming. A boy should be able to defend himself at all times from a bully or ruffian, and there is no manlier way to do it than with his fists. In civilised localities it is only the coward who carries a knife or a pistol.' Bob Fitzsimmons

The rise of bourgeois society enlarged the boundaries of freedoms but it also created new forms of enslavement. Capitalism created unprecedented abundance but simultaneously widen the gap between rich and poor. The conquest of nature liberated mankind from superstition but deprived it of the consolations of religion. The spread of education designed to make the masses more critical of established authority, encouraged a certain cynicism about official protestations but also made the masses avid consumers of advertising and propaganda, which kept them in a chronic state of uncertainty and unsatisfied desire. - Christopher Lasch
