04 🎭 अच्छा पड़ोसी:
एक समय की बात है, वहाँ दो पड़ोसी रहते थे। एक था कासिम और दूसरा था फहिन. कासिम के पास अकूत संपत्ति थी लेकिन फ़ाहिन को अपनी रोज़ी रोटी के लिए संघर्ष करना पड़ता था। इसलिए फाहिन को अपने पड़ोसी की संपत्ति से ईर्ष्या होती थी। दिन-ब-दिन ईर्ष्या और भी बढ़ती गई और अंततः वह वास्तविक घृणा के रूप में बदल गई। इसलिए फाहिन ने स्वाभाविक रूप से कासिम के खिलाफ साजिश रचने की योजना बनाई। चूँकि कासिम बुद्धिमान था इसलिए वह फाहिन की मानसिकता को जानता था।
फ़ाहिन ने कासिम को हानि पहुँचाने की एक योजना सोची। पूरा दिन उसने बिना कोई काम किए कोई योजना बनाने में बर्बाद कर दिया। कासिम जानता था कि फाहिन उसकी दौलत से जल रहा है और उसके खिलाफ साजिश रचने में समय बर्बाद कर रहा है।
कासिम अपनी दौलत से अपने पड़ोसी को परेशान नहीं करना चाहता था। उस ने फहीम के घर से कहीं दूर अपना ठिकाना बदलने की योजना बनाई. इसलिये वह दूर देश में चला गया और वहीं बस गया। वहाँ वे सद्भावना के शिक्षक के रूप में आराम से बस गये। हर समय उनकी बातें सुनने के लिए लोग घिरे रहते थे। जैसे-जैसे दिन बीतते गए, वहां रहने वाले लोगों द्वारा उन्हें एक पवित्र व्यक्ति माना जाने लगा। उनके नाम की प्रसिद्धि दूर-दूर तक फैल गई।
यह खबर फाहिन को भी लग गयी. इसलिए वह उसे जल्द ही देखने के लिए बहुत उत्सुक था। अगली सुबह वह कासिम को व्यक्तिगत रूप से देखने के लिए दुष्ट विचारों के साथ अपनी यात्रा पर निकल पड़ा। कासिम को पहले फ़ाहिन की नफरत से कोई फ़र्क़ नहीं पड़ा, उसने फ़ाहिन का गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया।
फ़ाहिन ने ऐसा व्यवहार किया मानो वह कासिम का घनिष्ठ मित्र हो, लेकिन उसके मन में एक गुप्त योजना थी। कासिम ने फ़ाहिन को बढ़िया डिनर दिया, डिनर के बाद दोनों उसके घर के बाहर निकले।
आँगन में वसीयत थी। जब वे कुएं के पास टहल रहे थे तो फहीन ने अचानक कासिम को कुएं में धक्का दे दिया। कासिम को तैरना नहीं आता था इसलिए वह कुएं में डूब गया। लेकिन वह बहुत भाग्यशाली था. उसने कुएं के नीचे एक नया साम्राज्य देखा। जब उसने नये राज्य में प्रवेश किया तो राजा के सेवक उसे राजा के सामने ले आये। दरबार में एक मंत्री ने कासिम को एक पवित्र व्यक्ति के रूप में पहचाना और उसने राजा को इस बारे में सूचित किया।
जब राजा ने यह समाचार सुना तो वह बहुत प्रसन्न हुआ। उसने मन ही मन सोचा, "मेरी बेटी को काफी समय से एक अजीब बीमारी है। कोई भी उसे ठीक नहीं कर पाया। क्या वह उसकी बीमारी ठीक कर सकता है?"
इसलिए उसने कासिम से उसकी बेटी की बीमारी ठीक करने का अनुरोध किया। उसने उससे वादा किया कि अगर वह उसकी अजीब बीमारी ठीक कर देगा तो उसे अच्छा इनाम मिलेगा।
कासिम ने कुछ देर सोचा और फिर अपनी विशेष शक्ति से राज्य की राजकुमारी बेटी को ठीक कर दिया। राजकुमारी खुश थी. यह देखकर राजा ने कासिम का स्वागत किया और उसे अपना बुद्धिमान बना लिया। अत: कासिम महल में सुखपूर्वक रहने लगा।
कुछ समय बाद कासिम अपने पुराने राज्य में वापस चला गया। जब वह पुरानी जगह की ओर चला तो उसे एक भिखारी दिखाई दिया। जब उसने उसे करीब से देखा तो पाया कि वह कोई और नहीं बल्कि उसका पुराना पड़ोसी फहिन था। उसने फ़ाहिन से पूछा, "क्या तुम मुझे पहचान सकते हो?"
फ़हिन! तुम्हें क्या हुआ!" "मैं कासिम हूं"। कासिम ने कहा. अब फ़ाहिन ने आश्चर्य से धीरे से मुँह खोला और कहा, “आप! तुम कासिम! मैंने पहले ही तुम्हें तुम्हारे बगीचे के कुएं में धकेल दिया था। कासिम ने उत्तर दिया कि उसने केवल उसके साथ अच्छा किया है, उसे आश्चर्य हुआ कि वह एक नए राज्य में पहुंच गया और अब राजा का वजीर बन गया है। कासिम ने फाहिन की ओर इशारा करते हुए कहा, "तुम्हारी ईर्ष्या ने ऐसा किया मैं वजीर हूं और इसने तुम्हें भिखारी बना दिया। आपको इसके लिए भुगतान करना होगा"।
अब फ़ाहिन दुःख से सिर झुकाकर कुछ देर तक रोता रहा। फ़ाहिन ने कहा, "कासिम मुझे अपनी गलती का एहसास हो गया है। अब मुझे तुमसे ईर्ष्या नहीं है। तुम्हारे प्रति मेरे पापों को क्षमा कर दो।"
कासिम प्रभावित हुआ और उसने फहीम को गले लगा लिया, उसने उसे फिर से व्यवसाय शुरू करने के लिए पर्याप्त धन दिया।

11 🧞♂🧞The Fisherman and The Genie:
Once a fisherman lived in a village. He led his life with his earnings from fishing. One day he cast his net into the sea. He waited for some time and pulled the net out. But there was nothing in the net. He felt worried and thought in his mind, "To day, my family and I will starve without food." He tried again and again but was in vain.
Finally he cast the net without any hope into the sea. After a few minutes, he pulled the net. He felt that the net was heavy. His face brightened….It looks there is a big fish in the net. But when he pulled out the net from the sea, he saw a big old jar in the net. It was closed by a beautifully decorated lid. He tried and opened the Jar.
There came a gigantic genie with an ugly wicked face. He laughed in high pitch “I have been hungry inside the jar. I want food immediately. I shall eat you". He said in loud voice. On hearing this the fisherman was terribly afraid. But he gathered his courage and said. “You are so big. How can I satisfy your hunger? The wicked genie again asked him to come near so that it could eat the fisherman.
Again the fisherman said, ‘‘I am poor. I didn't do any harm to you. Then why do you want to kill me. Genie?" But the genie said. “I would not hear your words again. Come near me quick".
But the fisherman had an idea in his mind to escape from the genie said", I am ready now…but before you kill me you have to answer my question".
"Quick", the genie said with anger.
The fisherman asked him how such a huge genie could be inside a small Jar. The genie replied that he could make himself as tiny as he. The fisherman wanted to test it. So the genie made himself as little as possible and jumped into the jar. Suddenly the fisherman closed the Jar as quickly as he could and threw the Jar into the Sea. 19 🐕🫏The Dog and The Ass:
Once there lived a merchant in Arabia. He often went to the Far East countries to sell his goods. His wife knew some magic. When his husband was away and was alone at home she read the magical books. After some years she became evil with magical powers. The merchant returned home with a lot of money and gifts for her.
Once the merchant went on a long journey and didn’t turn up for months. So his wife was in distress. She was angry on her husband and married another man who was wealthy in the town. When her husband returned back, he knew all about her and felt sad. While she saw him near her new home she cursed him and changed him as a dog with her evil magical powers.
The merchant wandered here and there in the streets and took food from the streets as a dog. One day it went near a butcher’s shop. The butcher gave some meat with bones. The dog ate only the flesh but not the bones. The butcher noticed it and told his daughter who also knew magic. His daughter came out and watched the dog carefully. She knew with her magical power that it was not a real dog. And that he was a merchant who was cursed by his own wife as dog.
The butcher asked his daughter, “Can we change the dog as before".
His daughter replied, “Yes I can".
Then she took some water from a bowl in her hand and said some magical verses. She then sprayed the water on the dog. The dog was changed to this real form as a merchant in a minute. The merchant was amazed and said. "Oh! I am back again to my form".
Then the merchant told the butcher’s daughter, “I want to teach a good lesson to my wife. Can you change her as an ass?"
The butcher’s daughter thought for a while and then took some water in a vessel and chanted some verses. Then she gave it to the merchant telling that if he sprayed the water on his wife she would be an ass then. The merchant took the water and went to his old house. His wife was in the garden at that time. The merchant went behind her and sprayed the water on her. Soon she became an ass.
“It is the punishment for you" the merchant told the ass. He then went to the butcher and asked him to give away his daughter to him in marriage. The butcher readily accepted and got her married to the merchant. Then they lived happily for many years.

26 🪦⚔The Dead Father and His Wish:
Long ago in the land of Persia there ruled a Sultan called Mustafa in the kingdom of Nasra. He ruled the kingdom wisely and just. The people in the kingdom were in peace and prosperity. The Sultan had a very beautiful wife but had no child.
The Sultan and his wife prayed to god. "Oh God! I have enough wealth. My people are in peace. But I have no heir to my kingdom". He prayed to God again and again. After long years, his wife had a child of beauty. The king was in joy. They called the child as Zakir. The child grew in to an intelligent young man. He loved his father and mother most. He learned war fare also. Mustafa considered that he was suitable to be a King.
So he conducted a ceremony and declared him as his prince. Some days later Mustafa tell ill and died suddenly. Zakir burled his father in a grave and he came to the throne as a Sultan. He also ruled the kingdom peacefully. One day in his dream his father asked him to dig his grave. Zakir told his mother about it. His mother thought that it would disagree his father. But her son insisted on digging up the grave of his father.
He thought that his father's orders must be obeyed. So he decided to dig the grave. The next morning he went to the grave and dug it with the spade. He was praying to god and his father. Suddenly he heard a different sound from the space. There he found some steps in the grave. He was surprised a while and stepped down slowly. There he saw a big room below the grave. He moved inside the room with watchful eyes in the darkness. To his surprise he saw some statues in the corner of the room. They were eight in number. All of them were made of gold, their dress glittering with diamonds and other precious stones. They were arranged in a straight line. He counted them. They were eight.
Zakir never had heard of the statues he had seen there. When he went near the eighth statue, it said. "There is a ninth one out side the cave in the kingdom. You go and get it!" He thought that the ninth one would be more precious and beautiful than those. So he came out of the grave. When he came out, he met an old man on the way. The old man told Zakir. 'Are you the king? If it is right I am waiting for you majesty".
When Zakir said "yes", the old man asked him to hurry and find the ninth statue saying that it was his father's wish. He also gave him a magical mirror. He said "It will reflect only one girl in the kingdom and that is your ninth statue."
Zakir took the mirror from the old man. Soon the old man disappeared from there. Zakir took the mirror and entered each and every house to find his ninth statue. He showed the mirror to all the maidens one by one. But no one was figured in the mirror. Days passed he continued his searching. Finally one day he passed by a house. He heard a melodious song that made him to stay there for a while. He wanted to see the girl for a while. So he entered the house. There he saw her father and asked him permission to meet his daughter. He said, “Your majesty" It is my luck that you are in my house. You can see her now".
The old noble man asked his daughter to come out. When she came out Zakir showed the mirror in front of her. There he saw a wonderful figure of beauty in the mirror.
“Yes! Yes! I have found the ninth statue here! No! No, my princess" he shouted in joy. He was amazed at her beauty and fell in love with her.
Then Zakir asked her father to give her away in marriage. The old noble man readily agreed. Zakir went to the palace and met his mother and told all that happened in the old man’s house. She also asked him to marry the old man’s daughter. So Zakir married her with the blessings of all in the kingdom and fulfilled the wish of his father in the dream. He and his princess ruled their kingdom with justice for long.

33 🧕 चतुर महिला:
एक समय की बात है एक राजा रहता था। उसका नाम शहरयार था. उसने और उसके भाई शाज़मान ने संयोग से दो दुष्ट बहनों से शादी कर ली। जब दिन बीत गए तो शाहजमां की पत्नी ने उसके पति पर एक दुष्ट जादू कर दिया। अतः वह एक बुरी बीमारी से मर गया।
खबर बादशाह शहरयार तक पहुँची। उसे अपने भाई शाहजमां पर दया आ गई। इसलिए उसने सज़ा के तौर पर अपने भाई की पत्नी को मौत की सज़ा देने का आदेश दिया। तभी कुछ साधु राजा और राजकुमारी से मिलने वहां आये।
परन्तु रानी ने उन्हें अपमानित किया और दण्ड दिया। जब उसने यह समाचार सुना तो उसने अपनी पत्नी को भी फाँसी देने का आदेश दिया। उसने महिलाओं से बदला लेने का फैसला किया. इसलिए उसने खुद ही कसम खा ली कि वह हर रोज एक लड़की से शादी करेगा और अगले दिन ही उसकी हत्या कर देगा।
अगले दिन से उसने एक महिला से शादी कर ली और अगले दिन सुबह किसी कारण से उसकी हत्या कर दी। जैसे-जैसे दिन बीतते गए उन्होंने अपनी शपथ जारी रखी। अतः एक को छोड़कर सभी महिलाएँ मार दी गईं। वह उनके मंत्री की बेटियों में से एक थी। उसका नाम शाहिता बानू था. वह बहुत चतुर और अच्छी कहानीकार थीं।
उसकी शादी का खास दिन आ गया. चूंकि वह बुद्धिमान थी, इसलिए उसने अपने दिमाग में एक योजना बनाई। शादी खत्म होने के बाद राजा और शाहिता बानो दोनों अपने कमरे में थे. उसने राजा से उसका मनोरंजन करने के लिए एक बहुत ही रोचक कहानी सुनाने की अनुमति मांगी। राजा ने उसे कहानी सुनाने की अनुमति दे दी।
जैसा कि उसने कहानी सुनाने से पहले योजना बनाई थी, “बहुत समय पहले एक राजा XXXXX था। उनका बेटा XXXXX था...।"
यह कहानी मैंने देर रात तक और सुबह तक जारी रखी। लेकिन कहानी ख़त्म नहीं हुई. बानू ने कुछ देर रुककर कहा, ''अब सुबह हो गई है, दिन में तुम्हें अदालत का काम है। इसलिए मैं आज रात कहानी जारी रखूंगा"।
राजा को सुबह ही रानी की हत्या कर देनी चाहिए थी. लेकिन वह कहानी की निरंतरता जानना चाहता था क्योंकि यह बहुत दिलचस्प थी। इसलिए उसने उसे मारना टाल दिया।
अगले दिन रात को भी रानी ने कहानी सुनानी शुरू की, लेकिन कहानी को बहुत आगे बढ़ा दिया। कहानी कई महीनों तक चलती रही. जैसे-जैसे दिन बीतते गए राजा को रानी से बहुत प्यार हो गया। इसलिए राजा ने उसे न मारने का निर्णय लिया। उसने अपनी चतुर कहानियों से उसका दिल जीत लिया था।
बुद्धिमान रानी ने राजा का दिल जीत लिया और उसे एहसास कराया कि सभी महिलाएँ दुष्ट नहीं होतीं। वे लंबे समय तक जीवित रहे और लंबे समय तक अपने देश पर शासन किया।

एक समय की बात है, वहाँ दो पड़ोसी रहते थे। एक था कासिम और दूसरा था फहिन. कासिम के पास अकूत संपत्ति थी लेकिन फ़ाहिन को अपनी रोज़ी रोटी के लिए संघर्ष करना पड़ता था। इसलिए फाहिन को अपने पड़ोसी की संपत्ति से ईर्ष्या होती थी। दिन-ब-दिन ईर्ष्या और भी बढ़ती गई और अंततः वह वास्तविक घृणा के रूप में बदल गई। इसलिए फाहिन ने स्वाभाविक रूप से कासिम के खिलाफ साजिश रचने की योजना बनाई। चूँकि कासिम बुद्धिमान था इसलिए वह फाहिन की मानसिकता को जानता था।
फ़ाहिन ने कासिम को हानि पहुँचाने की एक योजना सोची। पूरा दिन उसने बिना कोई काम किए कोई योजना बनाने में बर्बाद कर दिया। कासिम जानता था कि फाहिन उसकी दौलत से जल रहा है और उसके खिलाफ साजिश रचने में समय बर्बाद कर रहा है।
कासिम अपनी दौलत से अपने पड़ोसी को परेशान नहीं करना चाहता था। उस ने फहीम के घर से कहीं दूर अपना ठिकाना बदलने की योजना बनाई. इसलिये वह दूर देश में चला गया और वहीं बस गया। वहाँ वे सद्भावना के शिक्षक के रूप में आराम से बस गये। हर समय उनकी बातें सुनने के लिए लोग घिरे रहते थे। जैसे-जैसे दिन बीतते गए, वहां रहने वाले लोगों द्वारा उन्हें एक पवित्र व्यक्ति माना जाने लगा। उनके नाम की प्रसिद्धि दूर-दूर तक फैल गई।
यह खबर फाहिन को भी लग गयी. इसलिए वह उसे जल्द ही देखने के लिए बहुत उत्सुक था। अगली सुबह वह कासिम को व्यक्तिगत रूप से देखने के लिए दुष्ट विचारों के साथ अपनी यात्रा पर निकल पड़ा। कासिम को पहले फ़ाहिन की नफरत से कोई फ़र्क़ नहीं पड़ा, उसने फ़ाहिन का गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया।
फ़ाहिन ने ऐसा व्यवहार किया मानो वह कासिम का घनिष्ठ मित्र हो, लेकिन उसके मन में एक गुप्त योजना थी। कासिम ने फ़ाहिन को बढ़िया डिनर दिया, डिनर के बाद दोनों उसके घर के बाहर निकले।
आँगन में वसीयत थी। जब वे कुएं के पास टहल रहे थे तो फहीन ने अचानक कासिम को कुएं में धक्का दे दिया। कासिम को तैरना नहीं आता था इसलिए वह कुएं में डूब गया। लेकिन वह बहुत भाग्यशाली था. उसने कुएं के नीचे एक नया साम्राज्य देखा। जब उसने नये राज्य में प्रवेश किया तो राजा के सेवक उसे राजा के सामने ले आये। दरबार में एक मंत्री ने कासिम को एक पवित्र व्यक्ति के रूप में पहचाना और उसने राजा को इस बारे में सूचित किया।
जब राजा ने यह समाचार सुना तो वह बहुत प्रसन्न हुआ। उसने मन ही मन सोचा, "मेरी बेटी को काफी समय से एक अजीब बीमारी है। कोई भी उसे ठीक नहीं कर पाया। क्या वह उसकी बीमारी ठीक कर सकता है?"
इसलिए उसने कासिम से उसकी बेटी की बीमारी ठीक करने का अनुरोध किया। उसने उससे वादा किया कि अगर वह उसकी अजीब बीमारी ठीक कर देगा तो उसे अच्छा इनाम मिलेगा।
कासिम ने कुछ देर सोचा और फिर अपनी विशेष शक्ति से राज्य की राजकुमारी बेटी को ठीक कर दिया। राजकुमारी खुश थी. यह देखकर राजा ने कासिम का स्वागत किया और उसे अपना बुद्धिमान बना लिया। अत: कासिम महल में सुखपूर्वक रहने लगा।
कुछ समय बाद कासिम अपने पुराने राज्य में वापस चला गया। जब वह पुरानी जगह की ओर चला तो उसे एक भिखारी दिखाई दिया। जब उसने उसे करीब से देखा तो पाया कि वह कोई और नहीं बल्कि उसका पुराना पड़ोसी फहिन था। उसने फ़ाहिन से पूछा, "क्या तुम मुझे पहचान सकते हो?"
फ़हिन! तुम्हें क्या हुआ!" "मैं कासिम हूं"। कासिम ने कहा. अब फ़ाहिन ने आश्चर्य से धीरे से मुँह खोला और कहा, “आप! तुम कासिम! मैंने पहले ही तुम्हें तुम्हारे बगीचे के कुएं में धकेल दिया था। कासिम ने उत्तर दिया कि उसने केवल उसके साथ अच्छा किया है, उसे आश्चर्य हुआ कि वह एक नए राज्य में पहुंच गया और अब राजा का वजीर बन गया है। कासिम ने फाहिन की ओर इशारा करते हुए कहा, "तुम्हारी ईर्ष्या ने ऐसा किया मैं वजीर हूं और इसने तुम्हें भिखारी बना दिया। आपको इसके लिए भुगतान करना होगा"।
अब फ़ाहिन दुःख से सिर झुकाकर कुछ देर तक रोता रहा। फ़ाहिन ने कहा, "कासिम मुझे अपनी गलती का एहसास हो गया है। अब मुझे तुमसे ईर्ष्या नहीं है। तुम्हारे प्रति मेरे पापों को क्षमा कर दो।"
कासिम प्रभावित हुआ और उसने फहीम को गले लगा लिया, उसने उसे फिर से व्यवसाय शुरू करने के लिए पर्याप्त धन दिया।
