In many countries, nowadays, consumers can go to a supermarket and buy products produced all over the world. Do you think this is a positive or negative development
There has been a debate about how an opportunity to purchase foreign products from the local supermarket is advantageous. While I accept that this is a valuable chance for most individuals, I think this trend is more like a negative development. One of the primary benefits of enabling people to buy products produced all over the world from their supermarkets is to win the time. If consumers cannot purchase those products from where they live, it would require them to spend more time to reach their products, which eventually leads to spending more time due to long journeys. If a person, for instance, is willing to try out clothes produced in Turkiye, it would take her more time than going to the local supermarket due to long travel hours to Turkiye. Even though this phenomenon may be beneficial in some aspects, I believe that this is a negative development. Since it takes several steps for products to reach the supermarket, they will be given additional costs in each of them. This circumstance eventually leads to more expensive commodities than they really are. Transportation is one of the main factors that result in goods costing a fortune, and that is why products are cheaper in the nation they are produced. Consequently, the costs of the products that have the same quality and value may differ according to the area they are sold. Hence, the drawbacks that come from this opportunity seem more justifiable than its advantages. In conclusion, although people can buy foreign goods in supermarkets with less effort, the cost of those products is likely to be higher than usual. Therefore, this trend is a negative development according to my personal stance. Total words: 282 Lingua_Aziza

#Task1 #PieChart The pie chart compares the amount of energy products from six distinct resources in a nation in the years 1985 and 2003. It is clear that oil was the dominant source of energy production in both years. While other renewable saw the smallest rise in the percentage of energy, the biggest increase was in the proportion of energy produced from coal. Oil produced the most energy in both given periods with 52% and 39% respectively. Although natural gas generated 13% of total energy, it increased by 10% points to 23% in 2003. The figure for Coal, by contrast, witnessed a significant rise, increasing from 8% to 22%, and it was the biggest increase among the six over the period shown. Nuclear, however, produced comparatively less amount of energy in 2003, declining considerably from 22% to 8%. Hydro accounted for 4% and remained stable in both years. Energy generated by other renewable was responsible for a mere 1% and went up to 3% in the following year. Total words: 169 Lingua_Aziza
