When diplomacy is removed from the table completely, we can only conclude that more war is desired. And when more war is desired, we also have to conclude that our leadership would rather destroy the people rather than protect them. We need to ask why? #auspol

In last week's budget the Albanese government is claiming they will reduce immigration to 395,000 this year. Figures from Home Affairs up until February 2024 are as follows: - Net long term visitor arrivals are 348,557- Net Short term resident arrival are 147,733 - Short term visitor arrivals are 361,549- Settler arrivals are 107,269 - Long term resident departure is 92,279 This is a net figure of 872,829 Dwellings built year to date are just 119,000 units. To put that in perspective, that is a decline of roughly 20% from a decade ago when approximately 150,000 new dwellings were being built in 8 months. #auspol

“Andrew Hudson, chief executive of the Centre for Policy Development, said: “Migrants are a massive economic benefit to this country. If it weren’t for migrant intake, Australia would be in a recession.” “It’s not that the government is opening the floodgates, it’s businesses paying big bucks to get people into the country to fill labour shortages.” Well it didn’t take long for the immigration rent seekers to come out did it! Immigration, in the name of economic growth, is nothing but a scam. Labor shortages are caused by poor government policy and corporations who are too lazy and greedy to bother training Australians. Labor shortages in the “care” economy have been brought about by the destruction of the nuclear family. Other skill shortages because we failed to teach our children real-world skills, instead giving them tertiary education that in many cases delivers nothing. It’s worth noting the Centre for Policy Development sponsors, one of which is Minderoo, Andrew Forest's company. Peter Dutton talks a big game on migration – but do his budget reply promises stack up?

In its potential impact on housing, the opposition leader’s vowed crackdown on migration and foreign property buyers may be less than it seems

Has anyone asked the North Brisbane locals if they want a massive dangerous lithium battery in their backyard? I don’t think so. 👇 “Labor lunatics spending $2.5 billion for a two hour, two megawatt battery and data storage at Brendale. Global private investment fund Quinbrook Infrastructure has been given the green light to build a $2.5-billion battery and data-storage facility north of Brisbane. Queensland Labor, the state’s worst environmental vandals ever, levelling mountain tops and bulldozing thousands of acres of rainforest, hardwood forests and farmland to construct wind generators with a five year life cycle and a $2.5b, two hour, two megawatt battery.” Quote from: https://cairnsnews.org/2024/04/11/labor-lunatics-spending-2-5-billion-for-a-two-hour-two-megawatt-battery-and-data-storage-at-brendale #auspol #qldpol

I recently gave a speech in the Senate asking that the origins of coronavirus be investigated, in particular noting the comments made by Anthony Fauci that there would be a surprise outbreak in the area of infectious diseases during Trump's term. Given Fauci funded Gain-of-Function research in Wuhan and subsequently covered it up, he has some explaining to do. #auspol

"The European Commission said it’s "actively monitoring" the spread of fake news about Wednesday’s shooting of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and warned it can slap Big Tech platforms with fines for failing to tackle disinformation. Properly translated, this is the EU in effect wanting to control the narrative, or at least make sure there are no inconvenient 'conclusions'. What kinds of stories might they be worried about?...” Just wondering how members from outside the country know what is and isn't exactly "fake news"? The fact that the EU want to control the news tells you that some government somewhere is worried about the truth getting out. Assistant Treasurer Stephen Jones made a Freudian slip yesterday. While spending 10 mins trying to convince Coalition MPs that the Digital Identity system will be voluntary, at the end of his speech he blurts out that once law it will be "mandated" later. #auspol

“The Australian Public Service is growing, and it’s growing fast, based on the latest Average Staffing Level numbers released in the official tally contained in Jim Chalmers’ 2024-25 federal budget. The bureaucratic body count will be boosted by 17,289 in the coming financial year. Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, the vanguard of the renewables revolution, gains 961 ASL to 8,779.” I’m not surprised that the Bureaucracy is increasing, but I have to say I was shocked to see that almost 9,000 work in Climate Change, Energy and the Environment. None of these areas are the responsibility of the Federal government. There is nothing in S51 of the Constitution that gives the Federal government the power to deal with these issues. Yet somehow almost 9,000 bureaucrats costing at least $10 billion a year have inserted themselves into society imposing green tape, handouts for billionaires and shonky renewables onto the taxpayer. What a rort. Quote from: https://www.themandarin.com.au/246297-budget-2024-aps-payroll-headcount-surges-to-300000 #auspol

And of course the budget couldn’t forget Covid now could it. The government is spending another $490 million of your money on oral anti-virals. You know the ones that cost $1,300 bucks a pop. The government just loves Big pharma don’t they. And another $336 million on PCR testing for Covid. What a rort. For those of you that missed it last year the TGA won’t release the primers the PCR tests use so we can actually see what DNA sequence they actually test for. How many people got a false positive from those shonky tests! Seriously why is the government still spending close to a billion dollars on Covid measures when the money could be used for so many other more needy causes? The Covid rent seekers are a much greater threat to our health than Covid ever was. #auspol

“The Australian government’s $23bn package over the next 10 years to spur domestic manufacturing and speed up the path to net zero is shaping up as the most politically contentious element of the budget. But the opposition has rubbished its central measure – $13.7bn in production tax incentives for green hydrogen and processed critical minerals – as a “handout to billionaires” it cannot support.” Instead of wasting billions on net zero and billionaires, Labor should focus on net zero immigration and hard working Australians. These guys have their priorities all wrong.
