My favorite part of Mark Time’s book “Man in the Mirror” is it’s thick enough that Borzoi can sit on it to be on camera when we record.

Two movies that seem bifurcated - the first half doesn’t match the last half in either. First half of both is the trials and challenges of oddball recruits at boot camp with an abusive drill sergeant. The second half of each is a light-hearted look at the absurdity of war, troop life, the lies governments tell, and false redemptions. Change my mind.

Maybe I’m clueless but am I the first to notice “Full Metal Jacket” is just a darker, grittier reboot of “Stripes”?

Since Feb 2022, there have been a total of 10,500 civilians killed by both the Russian and Ukrainian forces in that, a conflict of seriously greater scope and magnitude. So your IDF diaper brigades are trying not to kill civilians, huh? They’re doing a goddamn lousy job of it. I dare say that kind of civilian murder count by Israel looks a lot more like murdering civilians is the one thing the jew soldiers are good at. And yet they’re still losing this conflict. You have a lot more sucked baby dicks in your past than in your future, Israel. Tick tock.
