Repost from CSAT gyan by YOGI
The Truth About “Maths Fear” Nobody Talks About Let’s be honest for once. People keep saying, “Everyone has studied maths till class 10th… CSAT shouldn’t be a problem.” But that’s not true. Not even close. I still remember classmates who started fearing maths from class 1 or 2. They weren’t stupid. They just never felt connected. Numbers looked like a different language to them… and they did the bare minimum just to pass the exam and move to the next class. Fast-forward to UPSC preparation— the same students are told: “Arre, CSAT toh ho jayega. Don’t worry.” But inside, there’s a quiet panic. Because the fear never went away. It simply grew up with them. Most people don’t fear maths because the subject is hard. They fear it because of: • Early classroom humiliation • Teachers who rushed instead of explaining • One or two bad experiences that stayed for years And yet, nobody acknowledges this. Everyone behaves as if every aspirant had a smooth, happy relationship with so called “10th tak ki maths” But you know your truth. Your journey. Your scars. And sometimes, naming the fear is the first step in reducing it

🇮🇳🤝🇷🇺 RELOS Pact: India–Russia’s New Maritime Advantage RELOS = Reciprocal Exchange of Logistics Support Agreement A defence pact allowing India and Russia to use each other’s ports, air bases, fuel, supplies, spares, repairs, and logistics facilities during military operations. 🔹 Why Russia Needed RELOS 1. No Russian bases in the Indian Ocean; the region is dominated by the US & allies. 2. India provides warm-water access year-round. 3. Refuelling & repairs in Indian ports reduce cost, distance, and response time. 4. Supports Russia’s new trade routes — North–South Corridor & Arctic routes. 🔹 Why India Signed RELOS 1. Brings a reliable, non-anti-India naval partner into India’s neighbourhood. 2. Helps balance China, US, France, UK, Japan, Australia in the Indian Ocean. 3. India gains leverage:“Russia can operate here — but only through India’s gates.” 4. Russian presence acts as a force multiplier for India’s maritime security. RELOS isn’t just logistics — it’s a strategic balancing tool that strengthens India’s maritime influence while deepening a trusted partnership with Russia.
