Bayer-Monsanto to deploy AI & drone surveillance to Australian farms. Bayer has signed a deal with Polybee to deploy their "Farm Intelligence Platform" across Australian vegetable growers. The platform uses autonomous drones & AI for full-field scouting, disease detection, and timing of harvest decisions. This happens only weeks after Syngenta signed with Annam.AI, India's AI "Advisory system" for its 140 million smallholder farms. Generational farming knowledge and intuition are being replaced with centralized, corporate-owned models. Farmers are losing sovereignty as they are turned into little more than a managed node in the technocrats' centrally-managed supply chain.
