Guilty! I was guilty of this a few years ago. For far too long i would seek pleasure for the short term, while blinding myself from my vision. The sacrifice of my mind, body and soul was slowly becoming the norm. I began to forget who I truly was, what I stood for and the potential I could see. Then I had an awakening. I had gone so far away from my core that I had come to a crossroads. I was presented a choice, which road would I take? Which life would I choose? I looked down the path I was currently choosing and saw nothing but pain and destruction. Focusing my mind on temporary pleasures and the opinion of others. Over my true calling of spreading hope and acquiring knowledge. You see my choice was simple in the end, continue down my destructive path and lead myself to no where. Alternatively, walk down my true path. Burn like a Phoenix and rise from the ashes a new being, wiser then before and lead myself and my people to hope and happiness. My Kings and Queens, always remember that what you're going through right now, whether it's the choice or by circumstance isn't your end destination. Your path maybe going somewhere you're not happy with, don't panic. Settle your mind and recognise what you truly want, refocus, recharge and start making the necessary changes. You see you are the hero of your life story! So do what the hero would do and save yourself from pain and destruction. Sacrifice who you are, for who you will become. We rise together. We fall together. We progress together. 💙
