Government of India has notified this tool as a
standard measurements for intelligence as part of
disability evaluation, the NIEPID Indian Test of
Intelligence is meticulously crafted based on the
theoretical framework of five factors derived from the
Catell-Horn-Carroll (CHC) model and Stanford Binet's
five factors. These factors include Knowledge (Gc),
Fluid Reasoning (Gf), Quantitative Reasoning (QR),
and Visual Spatial Reasoning (Gv). Designed for
individuals aged 3 to 18 years, the test yields a Full
Scale Intelligence Quotient (FSIQ) derived from a
battery of assessments covering the aforementioned
factors along with Working Memory and 11
dimensions.
