Closing Bell - Sensex falls 193 points, Nifty closes below 22100
🔴Banking, Auto, Financial Services, IT, Pharma, Private Bank, Realty and Healthcare saw selling pressure up to 0.11-1.34 percent. While FMCG, Metal, PSU Bank, Consumer Durables and Oil & Gas stocks have seen an increase.
🔴In today's business day, the Indian market closed with a decline today. Lately Nifty closed below 22100 and Sensex closed at 73134. Sensex has rallied up to 193 points from the day's highs, while Nifty has rallied up to 66 points.
🔴However, midcap and smallcap stocks have been seen collapsing. BSE's midcap index closed down 0.46 percent, while Nifty's midcap 100 index registered a 0.54 percent decline. BSE's smallcap index closed 0.84 percent lower.
🔴Finally, BSE's 30-share flagship index Sensex is trading at 73134.36 with a decline of 193.58 points or 0.26 percent. While NSE's 50-share flagship index Nifty is trading at 22031.50, down 66.00 points or 0.30 percent.
🔴Banking, Auto, Financial Services, IT, Pharma, Private Bank, Realty and Healthcare saw selling pressure up to 0.11-1.34 percent. Bank Nifty closed down 0.10 percent at 48,107.75. While FMCG, Metal, PSU Bank, Consumer Durables and Oil & Gas stocks have seen an increase.
Among the leading stocks, Divis Lab, HCL Tech, NTPC, Wipro, Infosys, Reliance, SBI Life, IndusInd Bank and Tech Mahindra closed down 1.24-2.11 percent. While among the leading stocks, BPCL, Tata Steel, Titan, ITC, Maruti Suzuki, L&T, JSW Steel and Asian Paints closed higher by 0.88-2.73 percent.
🔴Among midcap stocks, Oracle Finance Services, Castrol, Oberoi Realty, Solar Industries and Aurobindo Pharma slipped to 2.61-3.2. However, among midcap stocks Zee Entertainment, SAIL, ICICI Securities, Bayer CorpScience and Polycab rose by 3.26-4.45 percent.
Among the small cap stocks, Angel One, Sukhjit Starch, Suven Life, ISL and Panacea Biotech slipped 6.11-14.47 percent. However, among the smallcap stocks, Capri Global, ITI, Transpac, Pratap Snacks and Dajing Corp rose by 10.39-20.00 percent.
