*Job Description*
- *Sales Research* within the coldroom area (Alakija, Ojo Lagos) and surrounding areas for potential clients (frozen food shops, other large coldrooms that we can supply, marketers in local markets, retailers, supermarkets, people in their homes, caterers, restaurants etc).
This would be assessed by sales performance to these clients and the quality of contact information gotten.
Candidate will be collating contact details, description of the people and organisations and their peculiarities (like what they like to buy, how they want it delivered, what sizes they buy, how frequent they want the items and other relevant information) Ideally we should have quite a long list of standby customers by launch. With their needs, location and contact details.
Candidate would also analyse and report on what the trends in sales are from data.
- *Competitor research* - identifying our competitors, finding out what their strengths and weaknesses are, and evaluating their products or services are.
What is their marketing strategy
What are their customers reviews
Who do the competitors buy from?
What prices do the competitors sell their products?
Suggest ways we can become more advantageous to the market than the competitors etc
For analysis, we would then have to find out what weight category the competitors are selling their products for Ie how much for - 10kg cartons, 15kg cartons, 20kg cartons?
What weight category for the carton sells more with the competitors
What price per weight of carton they’re selling for each of those items listed and what price per kilo of the items the marketers are selling for?
What size category the products sell for eg, 2-4 (200 grams - 400 grams) 5-9 and 9 up.

- *Supplier research*
Candidate will be responsible for getting supplier information like suppliers and wholesalers of the items listed below and more that we can then order from.
