WHY 5 QUESTIONS DAILY BUT ONLY 1–3 EVALUATIONS?

This is one of the most common queries about MAP, so let us clarify the distinction. 5 Questions = Coverage & Practice Every enrolled student will receive 5 questions daily, along with model answers. The purpose of giving 5 questions is to ensure that you are exposed to a large number of important themes and probable areas throughout the program. With 5 questions every day, MAP aims to cover 500+ important questions/themes by mid-January 2027. You are therefore not expected to write all 5 questions every day. The five questions are your daily pool for reading, brainstorming, practice and targeted syllabus coverage. 1–3 Evaluations = Personalised Feedback The evaluation plan determines how many answers you can submit for detailed evaluation each day. You can choose: - 1 Answer Evaluation - 2 Answer Evaluations - 3 Answer Evaluations For every answer evaluated, you receive detailed feedback on content, structure, demand of the question, presentation, value addition, shortcomings and areas of improvement. In simple terms: 5 Questions → What you study and practise 1–3 Evaluations → What we personally check and improve Giving only 1–3 questions daily would have been easier, but our objective is to provide maximum thematic coverage while keeping the evaluation genuinely personalised and detailed. Hence, 5 questions daily for everyone + evaluation according to the plan you choose. The aim is not to make you write more. The aim is to make you cover more, practise regularly and improve through focused evaluation.

WHY MAP 2027?

QUERIES ASKED BY MANY ASPIRANTS

“What if Prelims is conducted earlier than February?” “Should I stop Mains preparation and completely shift to Prelims?” “What if Prelims is conducted in December?” “Will I get enough time for Mains after Prelims?” These are some of the most common queries being asked by aspirants, and this is exactly why MAP has been designed as a mentor-led and flexible program rather than a rigid, mechanical schedule. 1. Why start Mains preparation now? At present, several administrative processes are still pending, including the appointment of the Chairman, framing of carry-forward rules by GAD, consideration of age relaxation, and reference of posts by GAD to JKPSC. Therefore, based on the present circumstances and our working assessment, we do not anticipate the Prelims examination before February 2027. Even if the notification is issued around the 1st or 2nd week of October, the subsequent process of application and form filling could take another 15–20 days. This would leave limited time thereafter, while December is already crowded with other examinations and the winter conditions during Chillai Kalan may also make December examination arrangements challenging. This is precisely why MAP is being launched now — to utilise this available window for systematic Mains preparation and complete the core program by mid-January 2027. 2. Don't get trapped between Prelims & Mains If you have already completed your Mains preparation, you can continue strengthening your Prelims preparation. But if your Mains syllabus is still incomplete, completely shifting to Prelims preparation can create a recurring cycle: Prelims → Mains → Prelims → Mains MAP aims to help you break this cycle by ensuring that your Mains preparation progresses before the Prelims notification and examination become the immediate priority. At the same time, Prelims preparation should not be stopped. Our approach is simple: Keep approximately ⅓ of your preparation time for Prelims while building your Mains foundation. 3. What if Prelims is conducted in December? Even if we assume that Prelims will definitely be conducted in December, MAP has been structured in such a way that your preparation will still remain useful. In that scenario: - GS Paper II will be completed in October. - Ethics will be completed by mid-November. There is very little possibility of Prelims being conducted before these targets become achievable. This means that even if Prelims is conducted in December, you would have already covered GS-II and Ethics, giving you a strong foundation in approximately 500 marks worth of Mains papers. After Prelims, the focus will shift towards: - GS Paper I - GS Paper III Thus, the program will ensure that you do not completely lose the Mains preparation window while preparing for Prelims. 4. A Mentor-Led Program, Not a Mechanical Schedule MAP is designed as a mentor-led and organic program, rather than a rigid, mechanical schedule that continues irrespective of changes in the examination calendar. For example, if Prelims is eventually scheduled for 15 February 2027, our Mains targets will be structured to complete the major components by approximately 15 December 2026. The program will then adapt to the examination calendar. After Prelims, MAP will resume with focused Mains preparation, giving aspirants approximately two dedicated months to consolidate their Mains preparation. The calendar may change. Our strategy changes with it. That is the philosophy behind MAP 2027.
