🍀 Why Peacock? Part II — the Van Cleef connection A little follow-up to my [previous post](https://t.me/semenchuk/47986) about why I collected 12 out of the 60 Peacock Clover Pins on a black background. The deeper I went into this model, the more interesting the story became. The obvious visual reference is Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra — one of the most recognizable jewelry designs in the world. But there is much more behind the clover than just a nice shape. Van Cleef & Arpels has been associated with luck for more than a century. Four-leaf clovers appeared in the Maison’s archives as early as 1906. Jacques Arpels himself used to pick four-leaf clovers in his garden and give them to employees as good-luck charms. His famous phrase was: “To be lucky, you have to believe in luck.” Then, in 1968, Van Cleef created the first Alhambra necklace. The four-leaf clover surrounded by gold became so successful that today Alhambra is not simply another jewelry collection — it is essentially one of the visual signatures of Van Cleef & Arpels. And this is where the Peacock model becomes especially interesting. 🟢 Green + gold + four-leaf clover Van Cleef even produces Alhambra pieces in 18K yellow gold and malachite. Put them next to the Peacock Clover Pin and the visual language is immediately recognizable. But there is another layer to the story: China. 🇨🇳 Alhambra is incredibly popular among Chinese luxury consumers. In fact, Jing Daily recently published an article titled: “Inside China’s Alhambra obsession.” They describe the Alhambra clover as an almost ubiquitous symbol of luck and status in China’s jewelry market. This is important. The four-leaf clover is originally a Western good-luck symbol — not a traditional Chinese symbol. But its meaning translated perfectly into Chinese culture, where auspicious symbols, fortune and positive omens have always played an important role. So for Chinese collectors, Alhambra combines several powerful things at once: 🍀 luck 💎 luxury 👀 instant recognition 💰 status That also explains something I noticed when researching Peacock on Black. A surprisingly large percentage of these gifts are already held by Chinese collectors and large holders, and many simply don’t want to sell. There are only 60 Peacock + Black combinations in existence. I collected 12 of them. That is 20% of the entire supply. So my thesis is becoming even clearer: scarcity + recognizable luxury DNA + a symbol of luck + strong Chinese collector culture. Sometimes the most interesting gifts are not necessarily the ones with the biggest floor today. They are the ones where culture, design and scarcity intersect. And Peacock might be one of them. 🍀

looks great ❤️

🍀 Why I collected 12 Peacock Clover Pins on a black background Over the past few days, I’ve been digging deeper into Clover Pin — studying holder distribution, checking different combinations, and talking directly with collectors. One model really stood out to me: Peacock. In my opinion, it’s one of the most interesting designs in the entire collection. Visually, it strongly reminds me of the Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra aesthetic: the four-leaf clover shape, gold details, and deep green tones similar to malachite. Alhambra is one of Van Cleef’s most recognizable designs, and the clover itself has always been associated with luck. But what made Peacock even more interesting to me was the holder base. 🇨🇳 After looking through holders and speaking with collectors, I noticed that this model is especially popular among Chinese collectors. That makes sense: the Alhambra-style clover is extremely recognizable in China and is strongly associated with luck, status, and luxury. Now for the numbers. This exact combination: **Clover Pin Model: Peacock Background: Black** has a total supply of just 60 pieces. And a large part of that supply is already sitting with either major holders or Chinese collectors. So I decided not to just watch from the sidelines 😁 I collected 12 Peacock Clover Pins on black. 4 rows × 3. That means I currently hold 12 out of 60 — exactly 20% of the entire supply of this combination. Will this thesis play out? We’ll see. But the logic behind the position is simple: recognizable design + connection to a real luxury motif + strong Chinese collector demand + only 60 pieces in existence. Let’s see where this one goes 🍀

1000 @Games Names minted ✅

Your gaming name — on-chain We’re launching @games Names — one name and one gaming profile for the entire @games ecosystem. A name like @user is issued as an NFT on TON and belongs to you. You can hold it, transfer it to another wallet, or sell it. No renewals — the name is yours forever. Your gaming profile is built around your name — on-chain, not inside the database of a single game. Games will be able to issue SBTs to your name: rewards for victories, rare events, and other achievements. Your profile is public: share a link, and anyone can see your name and your achievement history. The more achievements you collect, the more history and value your name carries. Why are rewards tied to the name instead of the wallet? Usually, SBTs are issued directly to a wallet address and cannot be transferred. If you switch wallets or lose access to one, your gaming history stays behind on the old address. With @games, it works differently. Transfer your name to another wallet or sell it — your entire achievement history moves with the name. Individual rewards cannot be transferred separately from it. One name. Different games. One achievement history that lives with your name. Claim your name now in @games or at id.game — starting from 1 GRAM.
