Practice solving questions without a calculator and within a set time frame (e.g., 50 questions in 50 minutes). 2. *Theoretical Questions*: PSU/ESE prelims exams emphasize theoretical questions. Focus on building a strong foundation in mechanical engineering concepts. 3. *Practice with Previous Year Questions*: Solve previous year questions from GATE, ESE, R.K. Jain, and Y.C.T. books to familiarize yourself with the exam pattern and question types. 4. *Aptitude and Reasoning Shortcuts*: Develop shortcuts for aptitude and reasoning questions, as time is limited in PSU exams. 5. *General Studies and English*: Some PSU exams include basic questions from General Studies and English.
