The concerning issue of pollution in Delhi and Gurgaon has taken a backseat, with many seemingly more invested in political victories than the alarming air quality. The reality is stark - the region has become a gas chamber, with toxic air posing a serious threat to residents' health, especially children. Despite awareness, there's a disturbing apathy, and it's disheartening to see people prioritize politics over the well-being of their own families. It's time to acknowledge the severity of this issue and work collectively towards finding solutions, rather than letting partisan interests overshadow the greater good.

My marks in hpcl cbt was 124.25 which i think was the major factor in my selection. For cbt , I referred the made easy notes and solved pyqs from youtube. This year they had given virtual calculator...using this 6 to 7 questions can be directly solved. Group task:(9 participants in one group, 6 selected for PI) For gt , i prepared from youtube...downloaded the pyq of gt and tried to come up with the solution first, wrote down the points and then referred the original solution. INTERVIEW:( total 18 selected for PI...9 from medical) 1. Intro 2. Where are you from? 3. 2 major tourist attractions in your city? 4. Source of income of people living in your city? 5. Family background 6. Internship experience. (Majority of the ques were from my internship) 7. Asked about hpcl 8. Some questions from hp petrol pump and petrol and diesel differences. 9. Some questions from pipelines like p/l materials, p/l cleaning, corrosion in p/l , how these are detected, anomalies in p/l. 10. hobbies and how do they help you in your work. And some basic questions from resume and the quistionaire which we were asked to fill after cbt. (I answered all of them except the one in which they asked about the trade relations between your city and nepal.) My interview lasted for about 30 -35 mins. People selected in pi were called for medical the very next day. Also i would like to advice ohter aspirants to focus more on cbt and try to score as much as possible because majority of the students selected for medical got almost same marks in gt and pi...then also they were rejected after medical. My overall interview experience was amazing. I learnt a lot from my previous interviews in npcil and bhel and eliminated all those negative points.
