Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University has always been an active supporter of international academic mobility programs. Foreign professors continue to work at Polytech even now, despite the difficult geopolitical situation. This year, 179 foreign scientific and pedagogical workers from 40 countries signed labor contracts. Scientific and pedagogical workers from BRICS + countries: China, India, Iran, Egypt, Argentina, etc. actively participate in the competitive selection. Foreign employees of Polytech not only give interesting lectures, conduct scientific research, publish joint articles, but also write teaching aids, develop courses for distance learning platforms, contribute to the development of students' skills of effective scientific communication with colleagues, familiarize them with foreign teaching technologies.

News from India The program of events of the cultural and business mission covered two cities: New Delhi and St. Petersburg's twin city of Mumbai. Mumbai hosted the Business Congress "Business opportunities for St. Petersburg and Indian entrepreneurs in modern conditions". The Indian side presented the peculiarities of the business climate in the country and trends in the economy, peculiarities of regulation of foreign economic and investment activities in modern conditions, current government projects in the field of small and medium-sized businesses. The issue of settlements in national currencies was touched upon separately. For their part, members of the St. Petersburg delegation noted the prospects for the development of Russian-Indian relations.

Polytech's treasure - Mettlach tiles Did you know that the beautiful floors in the historic buildings of Polytech are laid with the same shaped tiles as on the Titanic? 📜 On September 20, 1901, it was decided to lay the floors with metlach tiles.
