When you walk in a mentality of “I have to”- I have to do this, or I have to take care of this or that, and you go about your day that way, you yield your choice to the constraints of time, because now your choice is bound by its effects, even if it’s masked by “responsibility”. You see this puts you in a state of toil and scarcity. It limits you, and makes you prone to complaining or grumbling about your circumstances. But when you walk in an “I get to” mindset, even in things that you don’t particularly enjoy doing, you shift into hope, into possibility, into creativity.
