Presbyopia 👀
- A natural eye-condition where the "near focusing ability" of the eye is deteriorated due to ageing, and people require reading glasses.
- Recent Context: An eye-drop, claiming to do away with reading glasses, was suspended for making exaggerated claims.
- The main ingredient in these drops is pilocarpine. It works by causing the pupils to constrict, creating a pinhole effect. This would enable someone with presbyopia to see better.

📝 Simplest Explanation 👇🏻
- Numbers exactly do not matter.
- What you do with the numbers, Avg. changes in similar way.
- 65% numbers increased by 9, so 35% decreased by 11.
- 65% means 13/20.
- So total numbers are 20. 13 increased by 9, 7 decreased by 11.
- 13x9 = 117 increased, 7x11 = 77 decreased.
- Overall change = 117-77 = 40. So 40 Increased.
- Increase of 40 on 20 numbers is increase of 2 on each number.
- Thus the Avg. will also increase by 2. Hence 58 + 2 = 60.
