MVC (Model View Controller) 🔻 MVC is a very popular design pattern that many of the frameworks that I will be mentioning use. I would say the majority of them use MVC in one way or another. ⚡️ The idea is to separate your code into 3 logical components (model, view, and controller). Each of these components handles a certain part of your application. I won’t go into huge detail with MVC, but give you a brief summary of what each component does. ✅ ——— 📌 Model The model is typically the part of your code that deals with the data. Your data can come from anywhere, but it typically comes from a database. If you need to fetch a list of employees from the database, it is typically the job of the model to do so. You may also use an ORM (Object Relational Mapper) or ODM (Object Data Mapper) to help create your models. For instance, Laravel uses an ORM called Eloquent to create and work with models. ——— 📌 View The view is just that. It is the view or the user interface display of the application. These could be views that are rendered on the server. Laravel uses a template engine called Blade for views. Django commonly uses Jinja and Express could use ESM or Jade. Another popular option is to use a UI library like React as the view.
