Fudayl ibn 'Iyād (رحمه الله) said: "When Allāh loves a servant, He tests him repeatedly; and when Allāh dislikes a servant, He expands the world for him." (See: al-Risālah al-Qushayriyyah, p. 114)

Virtues of reciting Surah al-Kahf on Friday The Messenger ﷺ said: ‘Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, a light will shine for him from beneath his feet to the clouds of the sky, which will shine for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be forgiven (his sins) between the two Fridays.’”

It’s Friday so send abundance of salawat upon the prophet ﷺ

Make sure to fast today (Thursday) It's Ashura! Make lots of Duas and good deeds ❤️

Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), was asked about fasting on the day of ‘Ashura’, and he said, “It expiates [wipes out the minor sins of] the past year." It is recommended to fast an additional day along with Ashura.

Ibn Abbas reported: I did not see the Prophet ﷺ, as eager to fast a day and preferring it over others except for this day of ‘Ashura and this month of Ramadan. [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 2006] Don't forget to fast tomorrow (Ashura) If you can fast 1 extra day (Friday), that is recommended.

The Prophet ﷺ said that the best fasting after Ramadan is fasting in the month of Allah, Muharram. Ashura stands out within this blessed month because of its immense reward and spiritual benefit. One of the greatest virtues of Ashura is that the Prophet ﷺ said fasting it expiates the sins of the previous year. It is a day of mercy, forgiveness, and renewal for the believer. Ashura is also connected to the story of Musa عليه السلام. When the Prophet ﷺ came to Madinah and found the Jews fasting this day, he asked them why. They said it was the day Allah saved Musa and drowned Fir‘awn, so the Prophet ﷺ said that Muslims are more entitled to Musa than them. That is why fasting Ashura is an act of gratitude to Allah. It reminds us that victory comes from Him alone, that the believers are helped by Him, and that worship should be done with sincerity and following the Sunnah.

«Do not carry your worries, for your Lord is greater than your worries In every hardship there is ease, and in everything there is goodness»

IMPORTANT! ❗️TOMORROW The Day of Ashura falls on the 10th day of Muharram, Thursday 25th June 2026. Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), was asked about fasting on the day of ‘Ashura’, and he said, “It expiates [wipes out the minor sins of] the past year." It is recommended to fast an additional day along with Ashura. You can fast tomorrow (Ashura) and Friday. May Allah accept our fasting and good deeds. Please share this reminder with others.

Don't forget to Fast on Ashura (25 June)

IMPORTANT! ❗️3 DAYS LEFT! The Day of Ashura falls on the 10th day of Muharram, Thursday 25th June 2026 in the UK. Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), was asked about fasting on the day of ‘Ashura’, and he said, “It expiates [wipes out the minor sins of] the past year." It's recommended to fast on the day before or after Ashura to distinguish the Muslim practice from that of other religious groups. 1) Fasting on the 9th and 10th (Tasu’a and Ashura) – the most preferred. 2) Fasting on the 10th and 11th. 3) Fasting only on the 10th – acceptable, though less preferred Make sure to fast and share this with others.

Fudayl ibn Iyad رحمه الله said: Glad tidings to the one who feels lonely from people while Allāh is his companion, and he weeps over his sins. [حلية الأولياء (٨/١٠٨)]

Ash-Shāfi’ī رحمه الله said: “Avoiding sins and leaving that which does not concern you; enlightens the heart!” [Siyar A'lam al-Nubala: 10/98]

A man said to Ibn al-Mubarak (رحمه الله): “Advise me.” He replied: “Know your worth.” Al-Jarḥ wa al-Taʿdīl (2/280)

Prophet Sulaiman (A.S), He used to speak to insects and birds. One day he came across an ant and noticed that the ant was eating wheat. He asked the ant, “How many grains of wheat do you go through every year?” The ant replied, “Two.” So Sulaiman (A.S) said, “I got you. Here are two grains, and insha’Allah I will come back next year and give you another two.” The ant agreed and said, “Okay, deal.” Sulaiman (A.S) then left and came back a year later with two grains. When he returned, to his surprise, the ant had only consumed one grain. He asked, “I thought you said you consume two grains a year?” The ant replied, “When I was depending on Allah, yes, I used to consume two. But when I started depending on you, I became worried that you might forget me, so I only ate one.” That is the tawakkul of an ant. What is ours like? The lesson drawn from this narration is about tawakkul: even an ant trusts its Lord for its rizq. And yet, sometimes we humans ashraf al-makhluqaat (the best of creation) forget that Allah is Ar-Razzaq, the Provider for all. Let this be a gentle reminder: trust Allah, be grateful, and remember that provision is in His hands. Even the smallest creature depends fully on Him.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "A believer owes another believer five rights: responding to greetings, visiting him in illness, following his funeral, accepting his invitation, and saying ‘Yarhamuk-Allah (May Allah have mercy on you),’ when he says ‘Al-hamdu lillah (Praise be to Allah)’ after sneezing."
