اشتباه رایج
وقتی بخواهیم از «دست یافتن به چیزی/هدفی پس از تلاش زیاد» صحبت کنیم، فعل achieve بکار می‌رود (نه obtain).
مثال:
• The company intends to achieve all these goals within the next five years.
شرکت قصد دارد در پنج سال آینده به تمام این اهداف دست پیدا کند.
🖋 با توجه به توضیحات داده شده، جمله‌ی زیر اشتباه است:
❌ It has taken women a long time to obtain equality.
شکل صحیح جمله‌ی گفته‌شده 👇
✅ It has taken women a long time to achieve equality.
زمان زیادی طول کشیده تا زنان به برابری دست یابند.
🖋 جمله‌ی زیر نیز اشتباه است:
❌ With these new policies the government hopes to obtain economic stability.
