We had our first taste of Key Word Transformations workshop yesterday. I will be doing more of the same next Saturday from 10-1130 London time. If you’re interested in joining, reply here and I’ll add you to the group where I will explain all details in the coming days.

First session will be free. I will use it to test some of the content, get some feedback from you, and then we’ll make some kind of a plan that suits most people. It’s going to be pretty simple. We practise, we correct, we analyse, and then I’ll give you some exercises to reinforce what we learn. If you want to join this Saturday - just say, “Eager beaver here, count me in!”

So, I’m trying to fit in everyone who has asked for classes, tricky though it’s proving. However, I’m also thinking of running Key Word Transformation sessions. 1 hour per week where we study, practice and analyse a series of Use of English papers, I answer any questions you may have, and then set a little bit of homework. These would be workshop-style sessions, with 10-20 people, but cheap. Would anyone be interested in that? If you’re game, reply here.

In general, it’s a good idea to involve your speaking partner throughout and vice-versa, don’t be afraid to add to what your partner says even if the examiner doesn’t prompt you. Got it?

So, your speaking partner will be asked a follow up question on “time management” and the examiner could involve you in that discussion too. It’s short, nothing too elaborate required. Then it’s the other candidate’s turn. I’ll do the same as I’ve just done ...
