🧠 Memory Trick — Integral Calculus
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The Mnemonic:
ILATE
What It Stands For:
• I = Inverse Trigonometric functions (e.g., sin^-1 x, tan^-1 x)
• L = Logarithmic functions (e.g., ln x, log x)
• A = Algebraic functions (e.g., x^2, 5x, x + 3)
• T = Trigonometric functions (e.g., sin x, cos x)
• E = Exponential functions (e.g., e^x, 3^x)
How to Use It:
When applying Integration by Parts using the formula:
∫ u × v dx = u × ∫ v dx - ∫ [ (du/dx) × (∫ v dx) ] dx
Always choose your first function u based on whichever function type appears first in the word ILATE. For example, in the integration of ∫ x × ln x dx, Logarithmic (L) comes before Algebraic (A) in ILATE, so you set u = ln x and v = x to make the integration solvable.

🧠 Memory Trick — s-Block Elements (Alkali and Alkaline Earth Metals)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The Mnemonic:
• Group 1 (Alkali Metals): Lilly's Nasty Kitten Rubs Cat's Fur
• Group 2 (Alkaline Earth Metals): Beautiful Magicians Can Stroll Barefoot Rapidly
What It Stands For:
Group 1 (Alkali Metals):
• Lilly's = Lithium (Li)
• Nasty = Sodium (Na)
• Kitten = Potassium (K)
• Rubs = Rubidium (Rb)
• Cat's = Cesium (Cs)
• Fur = Francium (Fr)
Group 2 (Alkaline Earth Metals):
• Beautiful = Beryllium (Be)
• Magicians = Magnesium (Mg)
• Can = Calcium (Ca)
• Stroll = Strontium (Sr)
• Barefoot = Barium (Ba)
• Rapidly = Radium (Ra)
How to Use It:
Use this trick to quickly write down the correct sequence of s-block elements on your rough sheet. This allows you to effortlessly solve high-scoring JEE/NEET questions on periodic trends, such as hydration enthalpy, ionic mobility, thermal stability of carbonates, and flame coloration!
