| 9 | 1. Do you prefer living in an old building or a modern house?
Definitely a modern house. Don't get me wrong, old buildings can be beautiful and full of character, but I prefer having modern conveniences. I like spacious rooms, reliable heating and cooling systems, fast internet, and not having to worry about something breaking every other week. Besides, I enjoy bright, minimalist spaces, so a modern home suits my lifestyle much better.
2. Should old buildings be preserved?
Absolutely. Old buildings are like living history books. They tell us stories about how people lived, worked, and designed things in the past. If we demolish every historic building, cities could start looking identical. Of course, not every old structure can be saved, but landmarks with historical, cultural, or architectural significance should definitely be protected for future generations.
3. Are there any old buildings you want to see in the future?
Yes, quite a few actually. One place that's high on my bucket list is Colosseum in Italy. I've seen countless photos and documentaries about it, but I think standing there in person would be a completely different experience. It's incredible to think that a structure built nearly two thousand years ago is still standing today. I'd love to walk around it and imagine what life was like during the Roman Empire.
4. What aspect of culture do old buildings reflect?
I think they reflect almost every aspect of a society, especially its values, traditions, and artistic tastes. For example, the design, materials, and decorations used in old buildings often reveal what people considered important at the time. Some buildings showcase religious beliefs, while others demonstrate wealth, power, or technological achievements. In a way, architecture is like a visual record of a culture's identity.
5. How do old buildings affect the appearance of a place?
They add charm, character, and uniqueness to a place. Imagine a city filled only with glass skyscrapers—it might look modern, but it could also feel a bit bland. Old buildings create contrast and give a place its own personality. They often become iconic landmarks that attract tourists and make local residents feel proud of their heritage. In my opinion, they make cities far more interesting and memorable. | 5 515 |

| 17 | Many Uzbek men today start feeling old as soon as they turn 30. They gain weight, lose their ambition, and keep saying, "I'm too old for this" or "I'm too old for that." Meanwhile, Amir Temur was preparing to invade China at the age of 68.
Sometimes I wonder what happened to our mindset. We seem to treat 30 as the end of life rather than the beginning of a new chapter. | 3 628 |
| 18 | 1. What type of car do you like?
I've never been a huge car enthusiast, but if I had to choose, I'd probably go for an SUV. I like the fact that it's spacious, comfortable, and practical. Whether you're going on a road trip, carrying luggage, or just driving around the city, it seems to handle everything quite well. Plus, sitting a bit higher than other vehicles gives you a better view of the road, which I find reassuring.
2. What colour car would you choose to buy?
I'd probably choose a black or dark grey car. Those colours look sleek, elegant, and timeless. They don't go out of style, and they tend to make almost any car look more expensive than it actually is. That said, in the middle of summer, a lighter colour might be a smarter choice because black cars can turn into ovens under the sun!
3. Do you think car colours are important?
To some extent, yes. Obviously, the performance of a car matters far more than its colour, but appearance still plays a role. The colour is the first thing people notice, and it can reflect someone's personality. For example, bright colours might suggest that a person is outgoing, while neutral colours often give off a more professional or sophisticated vibe. So, although it's not the most important factor, it definitely influences people's choices.
4. What do you usually do when there's a traffic jam?
I usually put on some music or listen to a podcast to pass the time. Getting frustrated doesn't make the traffic move any faster, so I try to stay relaxed and make the most of the situation. Sometimes I even enjoy it because it gives me a chance to catch up on interesting podcasts or think about things without being distracted by my phone.
5. Do you prefer to be a driver or a passenger?
Definitely a passenger. When I'm a passenger, I can just sit back, enjoy the scenery, listen to music, or chat with other people. Driving requires constant attention, especially in busy traffic, which can be quite tiring. As a passenger, I can relax and let someone else deal with the stress of finding the right route and navigating traffic. It feels much more enjoyable to me. | 3 773 |
