ብዙ የኮንስትራክሽን ባለሞያዎች መሰንጠቅ በMix design ትክክል አለመሆን ብቻ የሚመጣ ይመስላቸዋል ነገር ግን ለመሰንጠቅ (cracking ) ምክንያት የሚሆኑ መንስኤዎችን ከዚህ በታች እንዲህ ዳስሰናል :- [1] - አነስተኛ ጥራት ያላቸውን ቁሶች የምንጠቀም ከሆነ . አነስተኛ ጥራት ያላቸውን ቁሶች የምንጠቀም ከሆነ መሰንጠቅ (cracking ) ይፈጠራል ስለዚህ የምንጠቀማቸውን ለኮንክሪት ግብዓት የሚሆኑ ቁሶችን (ሲሚንቶ፣ አሸዋ፣ ኮረኮንች) ጥራት መፈተሽ አለብን ኮንክሪቱ የብረት መዋቅር (reinforcement ) ያለው ከሆነ የብረቱን ጥራት መገምገም አለብን። . [2] - መኮማተር (Shrinkage ) . ኮንክሪቱን በምንደባልቅበት እና ውሃ በምናጠጣበት ግዜ (Curing ) ተገቢውን ጥንቃቄ ካልወሰድን መኮማተር (shrinkage) መሰንጠቅን(cracking)   ያስከትላል ። መኮማተር (shrinkage) ለትልቅ የኮንክሪት ጥንካሬ በጣም አስፈላጊ ነው አስፈላጊውን የውሃ-ሲሚንቶ መመዛዘን (water cement ratio) ካልተጠቀምን በመኮማተር አማካኝነት መሰንጠቅ ሊፈጠር ይችላል ። . [3] - ጥራት ያለው Aggregate የማንጠቀም ከሆነ . Aggregate የኮንክሪትን አጠቃላይ ጥንካሬ ይወስንልናል ጥራቱ ጥሩ ያልሆነ Aggregate የምንጠቀም ከሆነ ከሲሚንቶ ጋር ተፈላጊውን ጥምረት (bond) ስለማይፈጥር ግንባታችን ሊሰነጠቅ ይችላል። . [4] - መዋቅራችን ከአቅም በላይ የሆነ ክብደት ሲያስተናግድ . ግንባታው / መዋቅሩ ተገቢውን ጥንካሬ ሳያገኝ በፊት ለትልቅ ክብደት የሚጋለጥ ከሆነ መሰንጠቅ ይከሰታል። በተጨማሪም መቀሰቻዎችን እና ቅስቱን (formwork ) ያለጊዜው የሚነሳ ከሆነም ግንባታችንን ለስንጣቆ ያጋልጠዋል። . [5] - በትክክል ውሃ እንዲጠጣ የማይደረግ ከሆነ (improper curing ) . ይህ በአገራችን ከሚስተዋሉ ለመሰንጠቅ ከሚዳርጉ ምክንያቶች ቀዳሚው ነው - ውሃ በትክክል አለማጠጣት። ኮንክሪት እንደተገነባ በተገቢው ጊዜ እና መጠን ውሃ መጠጣት አለበት ። «ወንድና ሲሚንቶ ካልጠጣ ይሰነጠቃል» አይደል ሚሉት ሰካራም ወንዶች : . [6] - የውጥረት ስርጭት (stress distribution ) አለመመጣጠን . በጣም ትልቅ የሆነ የብረት መዋቅርን Mix ratioው ትንሽ በሆነ ኮንክሪት የሙሌት ስራ ስንሰራ በብረቱ እና በኮንክሪቱ መካከል ያለ የውጥረት ስርጭት (stress distribution ) non linear ይሆናል ይህ ደግሞ መሰንጠቅን ያስከትላል። . [7] - በሳይት ላይ የሙሌት (casting ) ስራ ሲሰራ ተገቢ ጥንቃቄ ካልተደረገ እና ለስራው ተገቢ የሆነ ባለሞያ (የቀን ሰራተኛን ጨምሮ) ካልተመደበ መሰንጠቅ (cracking) በሚሰራው ኮንክሪት ላይ መፈጠሩ አይቀርም

🚧የጨረታ ማስጠበቂያ (Bid Security Bond)🚧 ለተቋራጮች የወጣ ጨረታ (በተለይ ክፍት ጨረታ /open tender/) 🌟የጨረታ ማስጠበቂያ መያዣ በማረጋገጫ ሰነድ (Bid Security Bond) ንዲካተት ይጠይቃል ይህ የጨረታ ማስጠበቂያ (Bid Security Bond) በ PPA (section 1) “instruction to bidder (ITB) አንቀጽ አሥራ ስድስት (article 16) ላይ እንደተመለከተው ⏺አንድ ተጫራች የወጣውን ጨረታ ሞልቶ ካስገባ በኋላ ጨረታውን ቢያሸንፍ እና አሸናፊነቱን የሚገልጽ የቅቡልነት ደብዳቤ ከተጻፈለት በኋላ ሀሳብ ቀይሮ “የተወዳደርኩበትን ጨረታ ትቼዋለሁ፣ የግንባታ ውል መፈራረም ይሁን ግንባታውን ማከናወን አልፈልግም” ቢል ጨረታውን ለማከናወን የወጣውን ወጪ ለመሸፈን እና በደረጃ ቅደም ተከተል መሰረት ለሌሎቹ አሸናፊዎች ጥሪ ለማድረግ አልያም እንደገና ውድድሩን የሚያስችል ገንዘብ ተደርጎ ጨረታውን ላወጣው አካል የሚሰጥ የባንክ ማረጋደረሰንጫ (Certified Payment Order - CPO) ሲሆን የገንዘቡ መጠን በጨረታ ሰነዱ Bid Data Sheet ITB 16 ላይ የተገለጸው መሆን አለበት። ▶️ነገር ግን አሸናፊው ተጫራች የአሸናፊነቱን ደብዳቤ ተቀብሎ ሥራውን መጀመር የሚችል ከሆነ በጨረታ ሰነዱ Bid Data Sheet ITB 15 (15.1 & 15.2) መሰረት ሙሉ ለሙሉ ተመላሽ ይሆናል። 🖱የጨረታ ማስጠበቂያ (ማስከበሪያ) ገንዘብ ለተጫራቹ የሚመለሰት ጊዜ በITB, article 16 (16.2) መሰረት ለ28 ቀናት በባንh ከቆየ በኋላ መሆን አለበት።

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)                                FOR SUB-CONTRACTING WORKS The Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation (ECWC) is a public enterprise established with the aim of becoming a leading, preferred and competitive Construction Contractor in Road, Water, Building and any other Civil Construction. Currently, The Corporation is interested to Sub Contracting of Deep water wells drilling and construction for its Building and Housing, Road and Bridges, water supply, Dam and Irrigation construction projects. Therefore, Ethiopian Construction works Corporation (ECWC) invites competent contractors’ having construction license on Water Well Drilling Contractors with grade 1 and interested to work with fixed price rate set by the corporation to submit sealed prequalification application for expression of interest. Brief Scope of Work The main project services to be carried out by sub-contractors include Deep water wells drilling and construction (access road construction, Site clearing & rigging up, Drilling in all formation, Formation sampling, Casing installation, Gravel packing, Well development, Pumping test, Grouting and well head construction, Water quality test and well completion report) under Dam, Irrigation, Water supply, Road and Bridges, Building and Housing construction projects. Detail specification and quantity of works will be specified after short listing of contractors as depends on the nature of the project. 1.  The Applicant is required to fulfill the following eligibility criteria; 1.  Applicants shall provide the statutory registration documents i.e. copies of TIN, VAT registration certificate, Tax Clearance and Trade License which are renewed in the budget year. 2.  Demonstrate financial and organizational strength by attaching audited accounts for the last 3 years. 3.  Company profile which contains Historical background and Organizational Structure, Company experience in similar Projects. List of Heavy and Light Equipment’s and machineries owned or Leased with supporting documents. 4.  Current Financial Situation of the Company. 5.  The applicant must be category Water Well Drilling contractor (grade 1) Construction License which has expressed interest to participate and has made available documentation of proven experience in similar construction works. 6.  The applicant must have, in the past 5 years constructed at least three deep well drilling projects in terms of the project scope and cost. 2. The applicants shall consider the following application procedures and documents;  1.  The applicant shall bear all costs related to the preparation and submission of this EOI. Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation shall in no case be liable or responsible for these costs regardless of the conduct and outcome of the selection process. 2.  Incorrect, incomplete, inadequate information may lead to rejection of the applications. 3.  All documents must be submitted in English Language. 4.  Applicants may be requested to clarification on submitted document, 5.  ECWC has the right to reject the application without communicating the contractor 6.  ECWC shall not provide explanation to the applications related to the short listing and selection process.
