I only cite America because we are usually subject to whatever happens there. Things are likely to get very bad, and your comfort and security might just be stripped from you overnight. Young women go to university instead of learning how to look after a home and preserve food, men slave at desk jobs and have no idea how to labour, grow and hunt for food nor how to secure a water source. Pagans do community better than traditional catholics. I know two men at my church interested in actually considering the state of the world, at least attempting to take the necessary steps, trying to be there for others. I consider most people I know to be lulled into a sleepy complacency, myself included often times. Middle class people water and manicure their foodless lawns, as if that will provide anything for them when the rubber hits the road, and affluent people buy horses for their ten acres of nothingness only to find out they may just need to eat them.
