| 8 | ادعوا لأنفسكم؛
۱. اللهم أعني على ذكرك وشكرك وحسن عبادتك.
English: O Allah, help me remember You, thank You, and worship You in the best manner.
۲. اللهم يا مقلب القلوب ثبت قلبي على دينك.
English: O Allah, Turner of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.
۳. اللهم يا مصرف القلوب صرف قلوبنا على طاعتك.
English: O Allah, Director of hearts, direct our hearts toward Your obedience.
۴. اللهم اغننا بحلالك عن حرامك وبفضلك عمن سواك.
English: O Allah, suffice us with what is lawful instead of what is unlawful, and make us independent of anyone besides You by Your grace.
۵. اللهم جنبنا الفتن ما ظهر منها وما بطن.
English: O Allah, keep us away from tribulations, both those that are apparent and those that are hidden.
۶. اللهم إنك عفو كريم تحب العفو فاعف عني.
English: O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, Generous, You love forgiveness, so forgive me.
۷. اللهم إني أسألك الهدى والتقى والعفاف والغنى.
English: O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency.
۸. اللهم إني أسألك العلم والإيمان والإحسان والحكمة.
English: O Allah, I ask You for knowledge, faith, excellence (Ihsan), and wisdom.
۹. اللهم أسألك حسن الخاتمة.
English: O Allah, I ask You for a good end (a righteous conclusion to life).
۱۰. اللهم أسألك الفردوس الأعلى.
English: O Allah, I ask You for the highest level of Paradise (Al-Firdous Al-A'la).
۱۱. اللهم أسألك لذة النظر لوجهك الكريم.
English: O Allah, I ask You for the pleasure of looking at Your Noble Face.
۱۲. اللهم ألهمني رشدي وقني شر نفسي.
English: O Allah, inspire me with guidance and protect me from the evil of myself.
۱۳. اللهم اغفر لي وارحمني وعافني وارزقني.
English: O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, grant me safety/well-being, and provide for me.
۱۴. رب لا تذرني فردا وأنت خير الوارثين.
English: My Lord, do not leave me alone (without an heir), and You are the best of inheritors. | 1 188 |

| 16 |  العَيْنَانُ (The Two Eyes)
العَيْنَانِ جَوْهَرَتَانِ غَالِيَتَانِ، بِهِمَا يَنْظُرُ الإِنْسَانُ، فَيَرَى بَهْجَةَ الدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتَهَا، وَيُمَيِّزُ النَّافِعَ مِنَ الضَّارِّ، وَيَهْتَدِي إِلَى طَرِيقِهِ، وَيُؤَدِّي عَمَلَهُ.
English Meaning: The two eyes are two precious jewels. With them, a person sees, enjoys the beauty and adornment of the world, distinguishes what is beneficial from what is harmful, finds the right way, and carries out his work.

فَحَافِظْ عَلَى سَلَامَةِ عَيْنَيْكَ بِغَسْلِهِمَا بِالْمَاءِ وَالصَّابُونِ، وَلَا تَسْمَحْ لِلذُّبَابِ أَنْ يَقِفَ عَلَى وَجْهِكَ؛ لِأَنَّهُ يَنْقُلُ إِلَيْهِمَا الرَّمَدَ، وَهُوَ مَرَضٌ خَطِيرٌ يُسَبِّبُ فَقْدَ الْبَصَرِ.
English Meaning: So, protect your eyes by washing them with water and soap. Do not allow flies to land on your face, because they can transmit eye infection (conjunctivitis) to your eyes. It is a serious disease that may cause loss of sight. | 475 |
