Vitamin D deficiency Vitamin D normal level ဘယ်လောက်လဲ❓ဘယ်လောက်ဆိုကုရမလဲ❓ Reference range: The following thresholds are recommended: Less than 25 nmol/L = Severe deficiency, treat with high strength Vitamin D loading dose; 25 - 50 nmol/L = Insufficiency, supplements recommended; above 50 nmol/L = Adequate but provide lifestyle advice and consider supplements particularly in high risk groups. Vitamin D replacement ဘယ်လိုလုပ်မလဲ 1️⃣Primary Prevention of Vitamin D deficiency 400units daily (adult) 2️⃣ Vitamin D deficiency (Loading Dose) Adult ( three regimen ရှိတယ် ကြိုက်တာတစ်ခုပေး) 2.1 - 50000 units once WEEKLY for 6 weeks 2.2 - 40000units once WEEKLY for 7 weeks 2.3 - 4000 units DAILY for 10 weeks ကြိုက်တဲ့ပုံစံ တစ်ခုပေးရင်ရတယ်။ ( weekly နဲ့ daily သာ မမှားစေနဲ့) ဒါက loading Maintenance dose Adult 800-2000 Units DAILY Maintenance dose ဘယ်တော့စရမလဲ To be started one month after loading dose completed or if correction of Vitamin D is less urgent ဆိုရင် loading ပေးစရာမလိုဘဲ maintenance တန်းစလို့ရတယ်။ Intestinal malabsorption သို့ chronic liver disease ကြောင့်ရတဲ့ vitamin D deficiency ဆိုရင် IM injection VitD 300000 units every 3 to 6 months ပေးရတယ် Hypoparathyroidism ကြောင့်ရတဲ့ hypoCa ဆိုရင် Adult- upto 100,000 units daily Dose conversion Ergocalciferol 400units is equivalent to 10 micrograms Hope it’s helpful Dr.Zin Please do react to the post ♥️ if it’s helpful for you
