The banks have to return any monies requested without question or investigation...this means they cant ask you WHY or ask for any extra info from you! Also they will tell you you have to contact the merchant for your money back (as they dont wanna lose money) THIS IS A LIE! You tell them you have contacted them and you want to reclaim the direct debit! Also they may tell you they can only go so far back to claim..THIS IS A LIE! Also if they say they will contact the debt team you tell then you dont want them sharing your data under any circumstances! Without question or investigation!! Record the convo and tell them at the start its recorded! If they start being a pain make a threat of complaint to the ombudsman in which you CAN claim compensation! Remember though the corrupt companies will try come after you for the money touve take back just remember ...money doesnt exsist niether does debt!
