Announcement. Late last year, I removed Stefanos Eracleous a.k.a 'Medi' from our organisation for a period of two years to assess his compatibility with our community and its values. The main reason was due to him directly disobeying a command I gave during an activism stand-down period, whereby he engaged in activism that I deemed not in the interest and safety of the organisation. Over the years, several people have been removed from the organisation on similar charges - "Bringing the Organisation into Disrepute". Something of this nature does not normally warrant a public announcement. However, I had other more serious accusations at the time that were beginning to unfold. During the time I was imprisoned we had several fundraisers, the former BuyMeACoffee, the latter GiveSendGo, and our Crypto address. I can not account for the money that was raised by numerous individuals who are no longer members. In the last year alone I have had over a dozen people in our wider community specifically ask me about hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars they had sent Stefanos Eracleous to pass on to me. With the exception of two occasions where Stefan passed on a couple hundred dollars to me, I have never seen the large sums of money that many trustworthy people in our community had sent to him. Furthermore, I have had many more people tell myself or one of my State Leaders that Stefanos had called them desperately asking for money, on many occasions he even stated that he was raising on behalf of the org and myself, but never in writing as to not leave a paper trail of his deceitful actions. I have spoken to Stefan about this and asked him to pay back the money that I estimate he's obtained in the thousands fraudulently, and a portion of money that was raised by our org members in the tens of thousands, in which I have many witness testimonies who state the money has not been spent on legal matters, but in fact on dubious personal entertainment. He has paid back a small fraction of the money and continues to deny any wrong doing and instead counter-claims that I am trying to "extort him". This individual has stolen from me, he has stolen from many of you, he has fraudulently obtained funds that are critical and limited to the legitimacy and legal defence of our movement here in Australia, and he has whatever the Cypriot version of "Chutzpah" is; to accuse my Senior Leaders and I, of dishonorable and illegal conduct. I have received over the years around $400 in small notes from Stefanos, but I estimate that he has accumulated roughly $45,000 from phone calls, grifting and other means. To make matters worse, my estimate is only based on the amount of people that have come forward prior to me making this announcement. I fear it is much worse. I never placed Stefanos in charge of collecting money on the organisation or my behalf. It saddens me deeply how much money could have been raised for my trial or for appeals for my bail, or for the political prisoners in South Australia who suffered greatly at the terror of the State for years for allegedly owning books, while this individual enriched himself. I believe Stefanos has some very expensive habits and has used the organisation and wider community to fund these habits for some time. Despite the damage that this announcement makes to the reputation of our organisation and ideals, it is worth being transparent for the sake of our future reputation, that behaviour of this kind has no place in our community, and under my leadership I will more effectively root it out and destroy it. We have clearly identified to the public our official fund-raisers, they are almost always pinned to my profile in order to remove confusion. There is no need for any "middle man/merchant" to handle your donation to us. That brings the updated estimate of how much money that has been stolen to over $51,000 AUD.
