الحرب هي السلام. الحرية هي العبودية. الجهل هو القوة. → الشعار المتناقض للحزب، يبين كيف يُستخدم الخداع للسيطرة.

من يسيطر على الماضي يسيطر على المستقبل. ومن يسيطر على الحاضر يسيطر على الماضي. → جوهر تزييف التاريخ لخدمة السلطة.

في زمن الخداع الشامل، قول الحقيقة عمل ثوري. → أهمية قول الحقيقة حتى لو كان ذلك خطرًا.

لن يتمرد الناس حتى يصبحوا واعين، ولن يصبحوا واعين حتى يتمردوا. → حلقة مفرغة من الطاعة والوعي.

لا يخصك شيء سوى بضعة سنتيمترات مكعبة داخل جمجمتك. → حتى الجسد والحياة ليست ملكك تحت سلطة الحزب.
